Hello,
This is Kara D***I am the *** Member at In the Loop, llcWe are responding to a complaint in regards to Ms***'s complaintWe strive at In the Loop to give excellent customer service to our members and any persons who have requested information from usWe are
diligent about putting people who are not interested in our activities, on a Do Not Call listHowever, we need the possible client to inform us of this so we do not bother themUnfortunately we did not hear back from Ms***, who initially reached out to usWhen we did infact hear from her, we placed her on a do not call listShe unfortunately was called directly after that due to the fact another caller did not "refresh" their call log, and did not see that Ms***'s profile was now placed in a DNC column
We did receive an email that was laced with profanity from Ms*** telling us not to call her- Using the "f" wordWe are a wholesome company with a great deal of integrity and we were shocked by her responseWe will surely not be contacting Ms***As we do not feel she is good fit for our group and want to respect her wishes
Sincerely,
Kara D***

To Whom It May Concern at The BB,Mr. [redacted] contacted our office, set up an appointment and met with us for about 1.5 hours on Oct 21st, 2017. At that time we went over our calendar of events in length with Mr. Sims. We explained that about half of our events every month would be free or under $10 to...

attend. We also gave Mr. [redacted] time to read over our Membership Agreement in it's entirety. Which he did, front and back. We also read out loud our cancellation policy to Mr. [redacted] and underlined it. He initialed that he understood his agreement  and signed off twice, his understanding of our policy.Below is a list of our ITL October and November events. October there are 26 events. 14 are free or under $10 to attend. We highlighted in yellow, the events that were free to attend or under 10 dollars. In November there are 24 events and 13 are free or $10 or less to participate in. As you can see, this is actually OVER 50% of our activities. I'm not sure if you had an opportunity to go over these calendars?  They have not changed since Mr. [redacted] signed up for a membership. You can easily see that literally half of what we plan is free or $10 and under to attend. We are confused by his complaint, being that we have delivered on everything we went over in his appointment. Also, Mr. [redacted] has acknowledged that he was given ample time to read through our policies and we were transparent of all aspects of our membership prior to signing up.Because we only want happy members, we did meet David half way and reduced his membership to half the duration of his initial contract. Sincerely,Kara D[redacted]__OCTOBER Calendar:  10/1:   High Ropes Course -$58.00 (2 hour high ropes adventure)10/4:   Street Tacos Cooking Class - $78.50 (2 hour cooking class + dinner)10/5:   Brew @ The Zoo - $42.00 (ticket to the festivities + 7 tasting tickets)10/6:   Sushi & Live Music Night - $10.00 (light appetizers/ Free admission to live music)10/7:   Oktoberfest Day Trip – Leavenworth - $48 (roundtrip ride on the party bus with snacks and refreshments to Leavenworth and ticket into the festival)10/8:   Point Defiance Hike $3.00 (waters )10/10: Team Trivia- FREE10/12: Halloween Haunted House  $20.00 (1 general admission ticket)10/13: Movies & Cocktails $6.00 (Covers- starter light, appetizers. To Whom It May Concern at The Revdex.com,

We are writing you in regards to the complaint you received from [redacted] on our business, In the Loop, llc.

In this email we are attaching Ms. [redacted]’s Membership Agreement and her Installment Agreement.

Ms....

[redacted] made an appointment to come into our office on June 16th and she signed up for a 6 month membership with In the Loop with 2 bonus months included. We do not change our prices from one day to another and we have lots of members who come in and get information, then think about our group for a couple days/weeks, then return to sign up for a membership with us.  So the “hard” sale comment is surprising. We also offer a variety of payment options to everyone, so that our memberships are easier on the pocket book for some who wish to pay over a designated period of time. We offer memberships ranging from 6-36 months.

At In the Loop, we plan about 30 activities a month and 4-5 trips a year for singles. At every activity we plan, we have paid employees who host these activities, drive our party bus, organize the events… and about half of our events are free or under $10 to attend for our members. [redacted] had an opportunity to attend about 30 events a month and several trips from the time she joined until the time she moved out of a 100 mile radius of our office. [redacted] also received over 65 emails from us encouraging her to attend our activities. She unfortunately did not take advantage of her membership. But regardless if she attends or not, we have to pay our employees to run events, plan events and we often times pay much more for an activity than the monies received from our members to attend said activity. We also spend a huge amount of monies on marketing to grow our membership and give our members ample opportunity to meet new single friends and enjoy our fun events.

Before we take a payment for our memberships, we read our cancellation policy out loud to every prospective member, then we have them sign off that they have read our membership cancellation policy so there is no confusion whatsoever in regards to our policies. We did this with Ms. [redacted] and she signed off that she read our cancellation policy listed under (H) on our Agreement.

Her prorated amount follows exactly what is listed on her Membership Agreement, with the exception that we did not include the $25 per month in dues we could have included, per our Agreement, which would have made her refund less.

After receiving the refund breakdown Ms. [redacted] wrote me this email:

“After consideration of the refund…I have decided not to cancel. It just doesn’t make any sense. I was not happy with the refund amount,  as if I would have paid the monthly cost, I could have stopped payment a long time ago, but since I paid in 3 months, I don’t get that option?  I might as well keep it since it is paid in full and I still have months left.

Please let me know as soon as possible. I really thought you would be more fair than that.”

It is troubling that she has stated she has moved out of a 100 mile radius of our business and requested a prorated refund, however the email she wrote us from last week has a Bothelll address, which is under 20 miles from our office.

In regards to her comment about her not receiving any services, this statement is completely false. Regardless of whether Ms. [redacted] chose to attend our activities or not, we employ a staff of 5 fulltime employees and 2, part time employees to plan and execute 30 activities a month and 4-5 trips per year for our members. We also ensure that our members have office support and access to ITL assistance 7 days a week to get the most out of their memberships.

We are happy to provide Ms. [redacted] with the prorated amount that was discussed via email but nothing outside of that. We have provided her with exactly what we promised and have followed our Agreement.

Sincerely,
Kara D[redacted]
