We are responding to the complaint that you received ID #*** When the customer dropped of his bear to be rugged, we explained to him it would take approximately a year to complete. We also explained that most of this work is subcontracted, he and his wife expressed
understanding. His deposit check for the work to be completed was returned twice due to “not sufficient funds”, We contacted the customer the first time the check was returned and explained to him that no work would start until his check cleared, he expressed understanding. He told us when to re-deposit the check, we did and again it was returned “not sufficient funds”. He then sent us a money order dated 10/29/that was never received by us until the end of November. We were patient with him during this time. His bear was then worked into the schedule, once it was dried and processed (ready for tan) it was shipped to be tanned the end of January We have communicated with him that we had some unforeseen health issues that arose, which put us behind schedule. Our last communication with him was on December 7, 2016. We explained to him it would be approximately weeks, but we weren’t able to give him an exact date, due to the felting process being completed by a subcontractor. We have called our subcontractor to put a rush on his bear so we can get it to him as soon as possible. In our last conversation we told him the skull has been completed and to send $which is owed, and we will send the skull to him. We have never received payment for the skull, or any additional communication from him since December 7, 2016. He has asked us if we accept PayPal, we explained to him that we don’t have a PayPal account and aren’t willing to set one up. He is more than welcome to send a check or money order and once the funds clear we will ship the skull to him. He also has returned check fees that will be due upon delivery of the completed bear rug. We are doing all in our ability to complete his project as soon as we can, but again the work is subcontracted and out of our control (which he was aware of when he dropped the bear off) Thank you for your time Chris C***
