I am very disappointed with In Zone Roofing and Restoration. My dealing was with the operation manager on 07/01/19. I had damage to my garage roof from a storm that generated multiple tornados. They came out and repaired the garage roof. The work was satisfactory. My issue is the contract stated there would be a Roof for Troops rebate of $250.00 and I would be receiving some warranty paperwork. The operation manager said he would file the paperwork for the rebate and I would receive the warranty paperwork and rebate in the mail. On 08/21/19 the paperwork had not yet been filed and I was told I would receive an e-mail within a week when his company had filed the paperwork.. On 11/07/19 the paperwork had not yet been filed. On 11/18/19 the paperwork still had not been filed. Called on 12/04/19 and left a message with the operation manager. No one has yet returned my call.
On 10/1/2018 I wrote a check for $21,040.55 as down payment to have my roof replaced. Six months later no work has even been started.
In August of 2018 I had roof leakage into my family room. I contacted In Zone Roofing and Restoration for repair and was informed that the roof needed replacement. On 10/1/2018 I entered into a contract with *** of In Zone Roofing and Restoration to replace my roof and gave him a down-payment check of $21,040.55 to begin work. Over the course of the next several months I contacted In Zone regularly to request a start date for this work. In the meantime, additional leakage of my roof was causing internal ceiling problems in other rooms. In Zone always returned my calls but never initiated a call to me. I was never given a start date for the roof replacement. Finally, after six months of delays with no work begun, I contacted an attorney to get my down payment returned so I could retain another contractor to do this work. A formal letter was sent to In Zone from this attorney on 4/26/2019. As of this date, 6//1/2019, there has been no response.
Return of my $21,040.55 plus additional damage compensation and legal fees for a total of $24,000.
Revdex.com spoke to a business representative who indicated they were going to get this issue rectified as soon as possible.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I appreciate In Tech's intent to resolve this matter, but it will not be resolved to my satisfaction until my deposit is actually returned. In Tech needs to respond to my attorney's letter and the conditions laid out in that document.
Revdex.com spoke to the company owner by phone. He explained their company had been waiting for the subcontractor to complete their portion of the job, of which was delayed, before his company could install the roof. The company owner is offering to refund the entire original down payment the customer submitted.

I cannot accept this response until my deposit of $21,040.55 is returned and my attorney fees paid per the multiple letters sent by my attorney and to which In Zone has not responded. Once this happens I will accept their response and the matter will be closed.
I had a roof put on 2 years ago. I still gave a leak. The owner has made every excuse possible to keep from fixing it. He was supposed to be the owner of the roofing company but he is a general contractor who keeps sending people over to look at the roof but no one ever fixes it. Now after 2 years of trying to be nice to him I am insisting he fix it and he now says that it's the chimney not the roof. He won't give us the name of the company who fixed the roof originally. I have had it. I don't deal with general contractors for this reason. If no stars were an option I would choose it
