I've had one computer crash since signing up with them and now my laptop is acting up

I called because I had a problem with Tuvaro taking over my computer. The person on the phone told me it will cost $an $a monthI agreed to the $but no monthly charge My computer is worst after they try to fix it They are the worst people to deal with They promise anything but it is all lies Please stay away from them

so far tech support is uselessI signed for their service and a week later my drive crashed after spending hours on the phone with tech supportI replaced the hard drive and before I install panda software from tech support I could blink and another page was upnow I cannot access the internet with out crashing even if I don't do anythinghad an expert work on it and he just signed off with out a word and left my firewall off and the anti virus turned offCustomer service sucks and so does their productsIf I could just get my computer back to a week ago when I reinstalled all my stuff I would take my money back and even try to sue them

These people talk too fast I went on line to check an error box that popped up on my screen The Box warned that there was a missing " [redacted] .dll." Not being a techie, I am still not clear what that means Looking to clear up the problem, Iwas directed to ATS, a.k.a"PC Helper." (suggesting they had some relation with Norton, although when I asked they denied any connection) The ad suggested that the price for the service I requested was $34, but with a discount it could be had for $ I called their number, and the answering person insisted on taking over my computer, and assured me it was in terrible shape and needed "tuning up." The price was $250, plus $20/month for a lifetime subscription Because I was a special guy, she said I could have the tufor just $ [redacted] enough, I agreed, and I guess they went to work Six hours later, a box appeared on my screen saying I should call X-XXX-XXX-XXXX, and that an expert techincian was available "24/7" I was on hold The person who picked up was not a technician After trying to sell me more software I didn't need (saying that my Malwarebytes program was no use against viruses) , but he would refer me to a technician, and put me on hold After another 10-minutes, they dropped the call I called back this morning, and after a wait got another technician who was not able to explain what was done, but assured me the job was complete I then asked them to cancel my subscription If my computer is working better than before, I have not noticed Maybe it is I would not accuse these people of fraud But I do say they are high-pressure operators, talk too fast, and might just try a fast one on somebody who doesn't seem familiar with techie jargon--like trying to palm off a no-name antivirus on an old man

I've only had the service for a short timeI had the tuand fix done and everything is working fineI had a few minor issues after that and when I did call, every tech I talked to was very polite, knowledgable, and VERY patient with me not being a techieMy problems were fixed remotely so I could see exactly what they were doing and talked me thru some thingsThe issues were all resolved in minutes, not hours or daysI have read some negative reviews such as being on hold for minutes or more and accusing the company of actually installing "bad things" on their computers on purpose Each time I called I waited not even two minutes to talk to someoneI thought it was pricey at first but for lifetime support it's very reasonableI did some calling around and local places charge anywhere from $200-$for a one-time fix/tuwith a 5-day wait (how would you know THEY aren't planting something on your computer?)ATS knocked the cost of Panda down to $for me which is lifetimeYes, you can purchase it online for roughly $for the same versionBut that's for two years and not a lifetime.Bottom line, I think their service is great so far

I contacted this company from a pop up window to update drivers It said I had that needed updates Well I agreed to pay the $for this service The tech went through my computer telling me everything that could be causing me problems, A gentlemen very knowledgeable, at least until the end of the conversation when he started putting a lot of pressure on me to buy additional products that were in the hundreds of dollars
I told him I needed to discuss it with my significant other first, he didn't like that Trying to make me buy "NOW" even adjusted the price Told him I would call back at a later time if I wanted their services, he didn't like that and was getting angry I told him I couldn't afford it now, had too many expenses this month Still pressured me to buy I said to him "you are a good salesman" he said, I'm not a salesman and hung up on me Still don't know if the drivers have been updated, but my credit card was charged

They worked on my computer, after several attempts of disconnections You would think when they lost connection someone would call you back I wasted all day on Thursday, February 13th trying to get them to stay on my computer to get the work done So, when I checked it the next day, because I went to bed while they were still working on it, I discovered some things that were still not working and my Antivirus was turned off and I couldn't get it back on So, on Saturday the 15th, I again wasted the day trying to get someone to work on my computer I asked to speak to specific people that I had just dealt with on the previous call and they would never let me talk to that person It was supposed to be transferred to a level technician the first time and once again we were disconnected So when I called back they would make me go through everything the first time and that person would try to fix it and couldn't and would again say they were tranferring me to a level techinician and even after expressing my concern with disconnection they would tranfer you and nothing happened It took or attempts and it still dropped somewhere in the middle of them working and they just let it go and did not bother calling me or anything Now my computer is messed up more than it was before My last call was to get a refund They said they did refund the money back to my credit card If that does not happen, I will again be contacting you with a claim Although now I am still going to need to take my computer somewhere and get them to undo what they did!

The Advanced Tech Support telephone representative told me that *** *** would charge $for a "tune-up." His (***'s) offer was $+ a month maintenance fee "and you won't have to drive to *** *** Like a sucker, I agreed to $225, but I stopped at *** *** and here's what I found: Tu$99, or $with unlimited service for a yearI will complain, then file an official dispute with my *** credit card

I just finished dealing with Advanced Tech Support. I found them to be very personable on the phone and thorough in their explanation of how they do their work. However, after they finished, my computer was less useful than before they started. I contacted them to report such and to ask for a refund. They were very quick to refund my purchase BUT never spoke to their failure.

Now I find that I'm a bit worried that, while connected to my computer to do their work, they might have extracted some personal/financial information that could be used against me (Identity theft?). I'll be watching my bank and credit card accounts closely.

Negative! Talked with a smooth talking and very knowledgeable individual - re. my request to update my drivers. After the driver update - he talked about malware issues adn stated my computer was not protected - and there were other issues he suggested might be cleaned up. Bottom line - I agreed - spent $300.00 (250. for clean-up and $50. for purchase of malware). - this was 1pm. He stated that clean up would occur overnight - I should leave my computer on - would take a tech approc 4-6 hrs - and computer would be ready when I came to work the following morning. Came to work today - long story short - the computer had not been touched by a tech - so called - and talked to [redacted] - and got my order cancelled. This has played out like a "scam" to me. Do not recommend these people. They are very knowledgeable super sales people - fast talking - with intent to deter any quesitons as they move closer to closure of the sale!

I called because I had a problem with Tuvaro taking over my computer. The person on the phone told me it will cost $250.00 an $19.95 a month. I agreed to the $250.00 but no monthly charge.

In mid-April, 2014 I called what thought was the Panda Internet Security help line to get help with a problem with their product. I was connected to Advanced Tech Support (ATS) which is apparently Panda's resource. After some discussion and them looking at my computer remotely I purchased ATS's 3 PC Fix and Support Service for three computers at $319.95 plus ATS's Active Support Service for $19.95 per month. The Panda issue solution turned out to be a rather simple one but I had hope that some minor issues with two high-end but well used computers might be helped to run faster/better as promised by ATS even though I had no specific issues. After ATS worked remotely on two identical computers overnight I immediately thereafter started to experience frequent program crashes. These included any program that regularly updated or refreshed automatically such as MS Outlook or Chrome with a window like NBCNews or WeatherUnderground running; or something as simple as a WeatherBug desktop gadget.. Crashes were regular and frequent.

After some time to sort through the issues myself I re-contacted ATS and allowed them to remotely try to fix the crash problem. I watched as they ran pre-established cleaner programs and other what appeared to be anti-malware programs but did not seem to search for a specific issue that could cause crashes such as was experienced by my two machines. No success was found in the cleaner arena as crashes continued unabated.

Another contact today (6/3/14) was made where I asked for specific help with the crashing problem and not pre-established cleaner programs. I was told by a supervisor that I would be connected with a senior technician who would contact me via phone before working on my issue so that I could watch and approve any changes. I permitted remote connection again and I watched as cleaner programs were loaded on my machine and changes in services were being made. All without contact from ATS. I decided to terminate the remote session.

Bottom line is I have now invested about $340 to end up with a computer that is more problematic than when I started with ATS.

Looking to clear up the problem, Iwas directed to ATS, a.k.a. "360 PC Helper." (suggesting they had some relation with Norton, although when I asked they denied any connection). The ad suggested that the normal price for the service I requested was $34, but with a discount it could be had for $9.70.
I called their number, and the answering person insisted on taking over my computer, and assured me it was in terrible shape and needed "tuning up." The price was $250, plus $20/month for a lifetime subscription. Because I was a special guy, she said I could have the tune-up for just $200. [redacted] enough, I agreed, and I guess they went to work. Six hours later, a box appeared on my screen saying I should call X-XXX-XXX-XXXX, and that an expert techincian was available "24/7" I was on hold. The person who picked up was not a technician. After trying to sell me more software I didn't need (saying that my Malwarebytes program was no use against viruses) , but he would refer me to a technician, and put me on hold. After another 10-15 minutes, they dropped the call.

I called back this morning, and after a wait got another technician who was not able to explain what was done, but assured me the job was complete. I then asked them to cancel my subscription.

If my computer is working better than before, I have not noticed. Maybe it is. I would not accuse these people of fraud. But I do say they are high-pressure operators, talk too fast, and might just try a fast one on somebody who doesn't seem familiar with techie jargon--like trying to palm off a no-name antivirus on an old man.

Today, I contacted Advanced Tech Support for a problem I had with my Skype voice activation System. The recipient of my call could hear me clearly, but I could not hear him. I tried resolving this on my own but I could not do so. One of the two ATS technicians I spoke to corrected this with a couple of key strokes and explained the problem to me.
The technicians I talked to were very polite and courteous. They said I needed to have my computer cleaned of viruses that were invading my computer, which could possibly give others access to my computer info. I agreed to them cleaning my computer of malicious viruses. The technicians spent about three hours cleaning my system and installed PCMRI Anti-Malware. By this time I was out of pocket to the tune of US was asked to call ATS, which I did. I was now told I should install a new Anti-Virus Software. This, I was told, normally cost over US $400 but if I installed it within 24 hours the cost would be reduced to US$199.00. By now the cost of this service was going to be in the region of the cost of a new computer. I declined to install the additional software as I already have Kaspersky Anti-Virus software. I then consulted a person who is computer savvy. He said I should not have installed the Anti Malware device as it gives the installers access to my computer. Indeed, I was advised to remove the PCMRI and any other devices ATS had installed on my computer. I will now find a local technician to resolve the matter for me$369.00.
I

I called this company to help fix my computer. I called about 10 a m. After a myriad of representatives went thru the same do this do that do this, mam, mam, do this do that over and over and over....until I'd been on line for more than 12 hours. I finally gave up and hung up. My computer was no better than when I started, in fact it was much worse. I can type this here. I cannot get into the internet cirectly from my computer now. My computer is worse off than when I called them. After the 4 hours sleep I called back and in about 45 minutes time there were 3 more reps that asked the same questions, had me input the ticket information, same info, over and over. Absolutely nothing was done to help me. I finally called back and the man who answered gave me the normal spiel. I told him I wanted to talk to someone who would help me. He got angry. I hung up. I would NEVER do anything with this business again. As I said, my computer is worse off now than when I first called. And that didn't seem to matter to them because they had a system to follow. I know this because I repeated it over and over with different reps. See, that's what I said at first but i'VE GOTTEN USED TO REPEATING THINGS NOW.
