Made my situation worse
I am writing to file a complaint about the debt reduction plan I was on with this company. During the time I had an agreement with this company I feel behind several months on some creditors specifically Republic Finance. I contacted the company several times with the collection notices I received (that is what they told me to do) and they just kept telling me the payments have been sent. I am not three months behind with the creditor and my credit is worse that when I started. They informed me that they sent me a message that some payments needed to go to Republic finance form me but I never received those messages.

Desired Outcome

I am looking for a refund of the fees I paid the company during my contract in order to catch up on the payments I became behind on as a result of our agreement.

RE: Revdex.com Case #***
Dear ***,

This letter is in response to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com on July 28, 2020, concerning the past due status on your accounts, specifically Republic Finance ending in *** and the request of obtaining a refund for your fees from InCharge Debt Solutions.

You joined the program on September 27, 2019. Debt Management Proposals were submitted to your creditors thereafter and monthly payment remittance commenced on October 15, 2019.

On December 19, 2019, Republic Finance accepted our proposed monthly payment. We communicated to you on December 26, 2019 that Republic Finance contacted us to advise that a payment of $286.00 was required by January 2020 and sent you a "Contact Us Creditor Specific Email." You contacted our Client Services Department on December 30, 2019 and we explained what the creditor required for the ongoing payment to be accepted on the program, in the amount of $215.00. On March 18, 2020, a letter was forwarded by you from Republic Finance regarding a complaint you filed with them, along with the concern that the account was not set-up on the program with the reduced payment.

Our team addressed your concerns by explaining that your monthly payments with us had been released to your creditors, all in a timely manner. We also provided a reminder that on some of the notices you referenced, the accounts' due dates were either prior or shortly after the date payments had disbursed. You may also reference your creditors and InCharge's monthly statements for disbursals and posting of the payments.

As explained to you upon enrollment, it is advised that if the monthly payments we are sending are less than what your creditors are requesting, we suggest the client make the difference in the payment amount to ensure the account remains current and in good standing. Since the creditors do not send us our client's monthly statement, we want to ensure the client is monitoring their account(s). In addition, as the creditors accept the terms of the Debt Management proposal, a letter is sent advising that the creditor's due dates should be 14 days after the program's due date. We send this advisory as the client may need to contact their creditors to change those due dates to accommodate the payment date with the Debt Management Program. We also recommend that you pay any past due balances, to help avoid the creditors from receiving payments late and reporting the client's accounts as late on their credit report.

Regarding your concern about your credit, we advised it would take time for your credit to improve. The timely repayment of debt accounts for 35% of the score. Clients can absolutely be perfect in the category of on time payments but have a lower score due to Utilization which amounts to another 30% of the score.

Key factors include utilization ratios (how much available credit is being used), as well as total dollar amount of debt owed. There are accounts which are not part of the Debt Management Program, that are contributing to your concern about your credit. InCharge paid all accounts on time and communicated to you, actions that you needed to take for you to be successful on the program.

Enclosed, please find the accounting of all funds disbursed to your creditors while participating on the program, client agreement disclosures, including information pertaining to credit reporting and letters advising you on actions needed to ensure the program was successful. As services were provided throughout your time with the Debt Management Program, a monthly fee refund is not warranted.

Sincerely,

I was never told that I needed to make additional payments to Republic Finance. In fact when I set up account I was told all I needed to was to make sure I had the monthly payment amount in my bank account. My credit score worsened due to the consistent late payments from Republic Finance. My credit agency informed me of this.

RE: Revdex.com Case #***

Dear ***,

We are in receipt of your rebuttal to the complaint response we had submitted on behalf of your complaint filed with the Revdex.com.

We recently provided to you, the original documents that was sent out to you, including your "Client Agreement." This agreement was given to you on September 27, 2019. If you reference page one, it explains that if the creditor is requesting more than what we are sending them, that we advise you to pay them the difference between the two. Your first payment with us was October 15, 2019. Within that first payment, $215.00 was paid to Republic Finance.

We also have a letter that you forwarded to us via email on November 13th, 2019 from Republic Finance dated November 5, 2019. The notice showed that you were past due $586.30 with them. Based on this past due amount, it also indicates that you were past due with this creditor prior to your first payment with us along with the knowledge that you were aware that the account was past due from the start.

As we can very much understand that being past due is not what you are wanting to experience and we do not want that for our clients either, however, you were made aware by us on multiple occasions, how to keep the account in a current status. As a courtesy we will be refunding your setup fee in the amount of $25.00 in the form of a check.

Sincerely,

Jayson W

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
In the response you indicated I sent an email in November from the creditor indicating I was behind on my payments. This proves I was not aware in September when I signed up for the Program that I was behind on my payments. I never received any correspondence indicating I was. Even when I forwarded the past due statement to In Charge I was told that the payment had been sent and that Republic accepted the payment arrangements. I was not told that I needed to make an additional payment.

Any concerns you have with your creditor should be addressed with them directly, as they should have continued to send you monthly statements. This did not solve or answer my original complaint.

Incharge is working for your creditor.. They are not in business to help you.

My monthly payment to In-charge is $111. I was down to one last Credit Card account. They took the same $111 but only paid the monthly of $37 to that credit card. Trying to find out were the rest $74 went to, but I can't get a straight answer from customer support.

The bottom line if you use this service watch the account everyday. Beware of hidden fees. Always remember in-charge is working for your creditor. They are not in business to help you. And they will stretch out your payment thru them as long as possible so they keep collecting the FEES

InCharge Debt Solutions. Response • Jun 08, 2020

Mr.,
This is in response to the review you have left us through the Revdex.com on June 1, 2020 and a *** review concerning your payment of $111.25, and the monthly fees.
We will be mailing to you the following documents for your records: Statement for the month of May, Status Report reflecting the payment received on May 27, DMP cancellation letter and the Debt Management Agreement.
Please see below how your payment in the amount of $111.25 was disbursed to your creditors:
â?¢ ***: The monthly payment for this account was $52 but you updated the balance resulting in a payment of $44.00 being disbursed as your final payment. The $8 leftover was allocated to *** Bank.
â?¢ *** Bank: The monthly payment was $37.00 and the additional $8 from *** One resulting in a payment of $45.00.
â?¢ Monthly fee: $22.25 as disclosed in the Client Agreement
â?¢ This totals your payment of $111.25.
â?¢ The way the program works is once you pay off one account the monthly payment is allocated to your next creditor to ensure you pay off your debt within the estimated time.

On June 2, 2020 you requested to cancel the program and that you will work with your creditor directly. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call me at 407-291-7770 Ext. 3363.

Sincerely,

Due to unforseen financial hardships, I was forced to enroll in a debt management program a couple months ago. My *** accounts were among the accounts included in the program. The debt management program was in charge of taking the monthly payment out of my account to pay the creditors and I made sure to make those payments on time every month until my financial situation got better and I was able to pay off the whole amount. I loved my *** cards and never had any problems with and although I was struggling financially, I always made sure to make the monthly payments even before I was enrolled in the debt management program. They are reporting late payments to one of the account and I do not understand how and why they are reporting those late payments since I have not knowledge of ever being late and only one of the account is marked as being late when both accounts were under the debt management program. I tried reaching out to them but they keep updating my reports with inaccuracies. At first they were reporting the account as having 2 30 days late payment and now they are reporting it as being 60 days late and I know for sure I was never late. It is unfair because I always made sure to pay them and when my financial situation finally improved, the first thing I did was paying both accounts off.
Product_Or_Service:

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I would like the complete removal of those late payments from all credit reporting agencies.

Dear ***,

This letter is in response to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on May 29, 2020. We have reviewed your complaint and found the following:

Your participation on the DMP was from July 31, 2018 through December 19, 2019. The payments were scheduled to be debited from your account on the 16th of every month. You changed the scheduled payment 7 times. See dates below.

2018: September 20th, October 18th, November 23rd, and December 18th.
2019: January 17th, April 18th and July 15th.

We advise that changing your normal due date may affect your account with your creditor but understand that there may be times that you had to change the date due to personal reasons.

There was also a returned debit due to insufficient funds that occurred January 22, 2019 which you later made up on January 29 ,2019.

On May 14th, 2019 you requested we remove your ***e account ending 1430 since you and the creditor had reached an agreement on this account.

On September 2nd, 2019 you updated the balance on your ***e account ending 9571 and requested to remove the account from the program because you had paid it off.

On December 17th, 2019 you contacted us advising you had made final payment directly to the creditors on the remainder of your accounts, therefore cancelling the program. A refund was sent back to you for your monthly payment in the amount of $143.00. We advise to review your statements to make sure there are no outstanding balances or fees that you would need to make directly to the creditor.

Included for your reference is a copy of the:
*Client Status Report providing you a detailed breakdown of your payments and the dates transactions took place.
*Letters referencing inconsistent payments
*Client Agreement that advises you that we do not notify nor report to the credit bureaus, the status of your accounts.

If you have concerns regarding how an account is reporting, you may contact the credit bureaus and file a dispute at your discretion. We are hopeful this has addressed your concerns and should you have any questions or concern, feel free to contact me at 407-291-7770 Ext. 3363.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

They input my account information incorrectly causing one account to charge 10xs my normal minimum payment while the other account was never on a payment plan. I called weekly attempting them to get it to change but it didn't move for two months. They made me communicate with my creditor on their behalf but then refused to listen to me with what my creditor was saying.

Over that time, my bank charged me overdraft fees and the creditors charged me late fees. It dinged my credit and destroyed my income for two months.

Every time I called, I had to reexplain my situation. There was very little communication from agent to agent and when I requested to speak with a manager, there was no help. When I attempted to close the accounts with InCharge and deal with this on my own, the manager and agent were not helpful and made me jump through hoops.

They refused to refund me my $50 service fee. This cost me way more than it saved. I am absolutely devestated both financially, with my credit, and emotionally. Never again.

Company was untruthful about creditors they work with. Promised a refund after they debuted more than they should of and refund not received.
When I first contacted InCharge I wanted confirmation that they were able to work with 2 specific creditors as I had been told by other companies these creditors weren't eligible. InCharge assured me that they could work with both one main financial and ***. I was quoted a monthly payment of $699 which I've attached dated 10/14/2019. I received notification about 1 week later that in order for *** to agree and enroll in the program my monthly fee would need to be increased to a total of $707. I logged on to my online portal on 10/29/2019 and noticed that *** had been removed from the program. I contacted InCharge for an explanation and they indicated to me that first national bank wasn't eligible and I would need to contact the bank directly to ask why. The online portal showed that my new monthly payment would be $239, but InCharge debuted a total of $707 from my bank account on 11/01/2019 which is different from what the portal indicated. I received an email on 11/01 at 4:44 AM indicating the request to debit funds was sent to my bank. This is several days AFTER I charge already knew first national bank wasn't participating in the debt management program. I was told by InCharge on 11/01/201& that they had sent a refund to my bank on 11/01/2019 and assured me I'd see it in my account on Weds 11/6/2019. I called InCharge again on 11/05/2019 and was told a second time that two different refunds were sent for the amounts of $75 and $707 and was assured again that I'd see the available credit on 11/06/2019. I have been in contact with my bank and they have confirmed that no payment has been received and nothing shows pending. InCharge depleted my entire weekly paycheck AFTER knowing they wouldn't be dealing with a creditor, InCharge failed to reimburse my funds after assuring me twice they would, and InCharge lies about creditors they work with. I am so disgusted and have been lied to and taken advantage of! InCharge should not be in business and allowed to continue to lie to people especially when they are working with vulnerable people who need their help managing their debt. I need my refund today!

Desired Outcome

I am requesting a full refund of $782 today as promised!

Dear Patricia ***,

This letter is in response to the concern we received from the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on November 6th, 2019 on your behalf. You expressed concerns regarding the participation with one of your creditors, ***, as well as the refund you had requested in the amount of $782.00.

InCharge does work with the creditor's you placed on the program, One Main is providing benefits by reducing your monthly payment and interest rate. *** also works with us. In this case loan terms could not be adjusted per your creditor's response.

Your monthly payment was already in process by the time the rejected notification was received from your creditor.

On November 1st, 2019 you contacted our Client Services Department and our representative advised you that the full payment had been processed before your account was rejected by ***. We also explained that a refund in the amount of the proposed payment of $410.00 for *** was in process as well. Once your payment cleared on November 6th, 2019 the payment would be refunded back to you. On November 5th, you contacted us requesting to cancel your Debt Management program since *** was not accepted on the program and that you would manage the debts on your own. Our representative submitted the request to cancel the program and advised you that a full refund in the total amount of $782.00 would be issued to you per the request. Our records indicate that the refund has been processed and cleared.

We hope this has addressed any questions or concerns you had and want to make sure we assist you to the fullest. If you would like to discuss anything further, you may contact me directly at (407) *** Ext. ***. Our sincerest apologies on any inconvenience caused.

Worst Debt Management Program and Worst choice of my financial life! I went through a horrible separation and still deal with the financial burdens of it all. I enrolled in the program to simply get it all in one place and to consolidate if possible. Instead, they talked me into their program and said it's like not like tradition debt programs, that they negotiate better interest rates and then, disburse the monthly payments just as if I was making them myself. $38,000 in debt from my ex and my monthly payment was and is $900 a month, which began 3/17/17. As a single mother struggling on her own, barely making enough for the monthly bills...you can see how ridiculous it sounds but, I committed to it. The 1st of every single month, they didn't hesitate to pull the funds from my account. Every single month, I let them and made sure I had the money, It was a relief to not have to continuously stay on top of paying the cards and so on, but then I quickly learned after not following up two months later (like we have the time in our stressful life changes and issues to follow up daily on this kr*p), I find out, most haven't been paid and worse, a few didn't even accept the terms of their negotiation. To top this terrible news, IT WILL RUIN YOUR CREDIT AND NO ONE WILL GIVE YOU ANYTHING!!! I couldn't and still can't get any credit. Well, guess what.....we need credit for EVERYTHING. So much for buying a house or you know, anything else you may need. Maybe your car breaks down (yep, mine) and you have to buy a new car because the repairs would be more than your car would be worth. So, I was struggling and then, my struggles got harder. From then, it was a like a vicious cycle. You know, I've been stuck in their worthless program, never missed a payment, and couldn't cancel because the damage was already done, but the worst thing to $15.3k remains because, as I said before, credit unions suck or at least APGCFU does and refused to accept the program since they offer their own. So, 2.5 years later and I still can't start a new life. Struggling to make ends meet and they are still getting their $50 charge a month. I love the late payment notices I receive in the mail monthly or better, when they would just send money to the credit union for two account payments (one loan for school and one cc) of $280 and never once received confirmation or made sure it was applied to the appropriate accounts. To add to that beginning hell, APGFCU was just holding the money and Incharge just kept sending it. It wasn't resolved till 4 or 5 months later, so all of the interest, fees, late payments....did incharge pay or offer to pay those?! NOPE. WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. I DON'T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO IS IN A SITUATION WHERE YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY NEED YOUR CREDIT, say for car repairs, home repairs, ANYTHING for your family. This company made promises and they broke every one...yet they have made thousands of my misfortune. Shame on you!

After careful review, we have researched your concerns and want to share our findings with you. We took the liberty of checking all the accounts listed on your program and found that all are enrolled and in current status at this time. We also verified your account's current balances to ensure information is up to date on your account. Dropped from program claiming I didn't make a payment.
I enrolled in their debt management program and paid a $75 start up fee. I asked if I could reschedule my 1st payment and they said no problem. My first payment was scheduled and just days before it was to draft they dropped me from the program. I had talked to TWO representatives and not one said there would be a problem with the date of my first payment. I spoke with both creditors and they said I was still enrolled in their end .
Due to them not telling me that I had to make their payment by a certain date and rescheduling it over the phone , my program benefits will end . I believe they should refund my $75 start up fee.

Desired Outcome

$75 fee refund because they dropped me .

Dear Ms.
This letter is in response to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on July 24th and your e-mail received on July 24th about the services provided to you and requested the $75.00 set up fee to be refunded.

Due to creditor guidelines a payment must be made within 30 days from the program start date and if payment is not received the account is automatically closed. Unfortunately, your payment was changed twice thus the account was automatically closed. We have refunded the $75.00 to you on July 24th. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention as this will assist us in improving our services.

We are hopeful this addresses your concern and if you have any questions you may contact our Client Service Team at (888)734-6229.

M***, Congratulations on paying off your debt. We really appreciate you sharing your experience with others. We'll be sure to share your words with our counseling and customer support staff, who go the extra mile to help people get on the road to a debt-free future.

Company lies to clients concerning their communication with creditors.
I am a federal employee who was affected by the government shutdown from Dec 2018 thru the end of Jan 2019. During this time I contacted Incharge and let them know I'd be unable to afford my January payment. They said no problem and let me skip my January payment. A payment that's collected every month which they then disburse to all of my credit card accounts. I voluntarily enrolled in their debt management program in October 2017 to avoid any late payments being reported on my accounts. When I asked them if they'd be contacting my creditors I was told they'd "reached out on behalf of several of their clients who've been affected by the furlough" but that so far "we haven't received a response". This was clearly an outright lie as I've now gotten a newly delinquent credit card account reported to my credit.
I voluntarily enrolled my accounts in their debt management program so I'd AVOID having my credit damaged by late payments on any accounts. I've now racked up close to 10 reported late payments on various accounts because they either outright lied or failed to communicate with my creditors. My credit has suffered greatly under their program. They lead their customers to believe that they're in touch and coordinating your accounts, but this is a complete and utter lie. They collect fees every month for their "service" of collecting my one single payment and disbursing to my creditors. They make you think they've got you covered. To date, after about a year and a half, I've YET to find evidence that they've communicated with EVEN ONE of my creditors after the initial enrollment request.

They completely misrepresent their intended service/purpose.

Desired Outcome

I want my late payments thatve been reported to my credit report removed and I want them to work with my creditors to get them removed. If it weren't for them leading me to believe they were handling everything I never would've stayed with them They're complete frauds.

InCharge Debt Solutions. Response • Feb 28, 2019

Dear Ms.,

This letter is in response to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on February 15th, 2019. You expressed concerns about the services provided to you and being reported late on your credit bureau.

Participation and the success on the Debt Management is a partnership between you the client and InCharge throughout the program. We work with you and your creditors to assist you in achieving your goal of becoming financially fit.

On January 14th, 2019 you contacted us to advise that you were affected by the federal shutdown. At that time, we discussed your situation and advised you to contact all of your creditors to see what options may be available to you. When we finalized the call, you stated that you would contact your creditors. You also skipped your regularly scheduled payment for the month of January and rescheduled it for February 13th, 2019. Attached please find letters sent to you confirming your request to skip the payment and explaining the consequences of missing a payment.

On February 15th, 2019 you contacted us and spoke with one of our Supervisors at which time you expressed your concerns and it was determined that at this time only one account, Bank of America, was reported past due in January due to missing your January payment because of the government shutdown. The creditor was contacted and advised the following: The delinquency was adjusted, and it may take up to 60 days for the update to be made with the Credit Bureau. Please allow the adjustment to be processed.

The remainder of your delinquencies were prior to you joining the program or when you originally joined the program in October 2017. You were advised that you must continue to pay your creditors until you start making payments through InCharge as stated in your Client Agreement. Once you start making payment through InCharge if the payments we are sending to the creditors are less than the minimum they require, we advise you to pay the difference between the two.

We encourage you to contact your creditors for any further assistance regarding the government shutdown as well as continue to review your accounts and verify your creditor monthly statements for any additional concerns that may arise.

We've included a payment status report that outlines all payments you made and were disbursed to your creditors on your behalf.

For your reference all consumers can pull their credit report once a year free at ***. This will enable you to review your information on***
We are hopeful that the information provided addresses your concerns. If you have any questions you may contact our Client Service Team at (888)734-6229.

Could not have been more helpful. REasonable and as soon as I decided to take charge and pay off the remainder of my debts they released me with no penalty. Positive helpful people a ll the way throughout the process. Would strongly recommend.

I called and talked to Carla M. and after she explained very little about the program and touted that they would help me reduce interest on my Credit Cards and get me into a 5 year plan to pay off 75 K in credit cards they pulled my credit. I explained that my wife was part of this and asked to include her and she would not talk to her to include her credit. so the estimate that she was trying to propose was completely worthless as we need to do this jointly. I tried to explain this to Carla and all she wanted was my acct #'s to do my estimate. at this point she was not very honest and I asked to speak to a Supervisor and hung up. today called someone else and asked to speak to a supervisor and she said I can help you, but she started down the same road and I Lost my temper and hung up as the CSR do not listen to my needs and just want to sell me on their services to get commission.

You really didn't address any concerns? I understand the company line and I did complete the interview. The first two CSR didn't want to add my spouse so any estimate was worthless! I called and we did a third interview and got my wife added but this was like pulling teeth painful! I really don't think your program has any real teeth and would leave me out in the cold with my creditors as you have no contracts with the banks. So I really at a loss what you do for me?

I am planning on cancelling my account all together with InCharge Debt Solutions I started around 9k and I have been making payments and I did the math and I was suppost to be almost done paying everything off but in my account it shows that I still owe over 5k. How is it that I am still so high in my debt?

InCharge Debt Solutions. Response • Apr 27, 2018

As a client of the debt management program (DMP) you may receive benefits such as lower monthly payments and reduced interest rates however, all interest is not eliminated from the account. The estimated length of repayment will vary based upon the unique terms of your creditor accounts, including minimum payment requirements and annual percentage rate (APR) or interest rate. If a current account APR is not available at time of estimate, the industry standard is assumed.

According to our records, your average interest rate for your accounts prior to joining the DMP was 25.10% and currently the average interest rate for all your accounts on the DMP is 12.80%.

We sincerely hope you reconsider cancelling the program as your history shows you have made progress paying down your debt. Our records indicate you have reduced your overall debt by 47% and have paid several accounts in full. Congratulation on this success. Please contact our Client Service department at 888-734-6229 Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm EST at your earliest convenience to allow us the opportunity to discuss your account further and to provide details of your current benefits.

A group of kind, caring and friendly consultants. It took me 6 years but today, I am debt free all because of this great company; InCharge Debt Solutions....Way to Go!!!

InCharge Debt Solutions. Response • Mar 23, 2018

Way to go Fay! We're proud of your hard work and achievement. We're glad we could help you become debt free. Spread the word!

I have been given the run about your company that displays horrible customer service and a lack of loyalty with customers money.
After this than two weeks I decided to cancel the company due to not receiving information after finding out they weren't being honest about my account. I was told I would receive a refund as they took 274.?? Out of my account on February 22. I had to call to request my refund. Finally the payment came two checks and one was already voided and the other I put in my account. Incharge did a stop payment on the check claiming they never charged me but I have evidence from my bank account. I have emailed them to resolve the issue and talked to the countless times.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund. A check that will not be returned as I have been charged in extra $25 for returned check

Dear Ms. ***,

This letter is in response to the notification we received from the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on your behalf. You expressed concerns regarding a $274.00 refund upon your request to cancel the debt management program (DMP).

As we discussed during our telephone conversation on March 23rd, 2018, a stop payment was placed on the refund check issued to you as your automated clearing house (ACH) payment was returned by your bank as "Customer Advises Not Authorized'.

As a courtesy we have refunded you $25.00 via check to cover the fee you incurred from your bank with regard to the stopped check.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and are hopeful that the information provided addresses your concerns. If you have any questions you may contact me directly at (407) 532-5535.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Incharge debt solutions is very unprofessional. They take money from the client and refuse to give it back making numerous excuses on why they can't give it back including stop payment on checks that were supposed to be refunded. I do not support companies that steal from clients that they promise to help. I have read numerous reviews on how this is not the first time this company has done this. I will tell anyone I know not to do business with them they will regret it.

Dear Ms. ***,

We received notification from the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) on your behalf as you did not accept the response submitted. We would like to assure you that InCharge has not kept any funds belonging to you. Attached please find the account of all transactions for your records.

You joined the Debt Management Program (DMP) on February 14, 2018. Your first program payments were debited from your account on February 21st, one in the amount of $274.32 for your regular monthly payment and the other in the amount of $50.00 for your one-time setup fee. As you can see from Exhibit 1a and 1b both payments were returned "Customer Advises Not Authorized" by your bank. This means your bank placed these funds back into your account since you requested to have both debits returned as "Customer Advises Not Authorized".

When you contacted InCharge on February 23rd to inform us you did not want to proceed with the DMP and requested for a refund we were not aware that you asked your bank to stop payments on both debits. We proceeded to return the funds to you on February 26th issuing check number *** to you for $274.32 and in error issued another check in the amount of $274.32 on March 2nd. We placed a stop payment on both checks as we received notification from your bank that the debits were being returned as "Customer Advised Not Authorized" Exhibit 2a and 2b.

As a courtesy to you we refunded a returned deposit fee of $25.00 that you incurred form your bank as you had deposited one check that had a stop payment placed on it.

Ms. on March 23rd, 2018 via a telephone call, we discussed that your payment was returned to us by your bank as "Customer Advises Not Authorized'. This means you went into the bank and advised them that the InCharge payment was unauthorized. Those funds were not processed by InCharge they were credited back to your account by your bank. Please see attachments.

I hope this clarifies that InCharge has not received any funds from your account. I recommend that if you still need verification on this to please discuss the account with your bank and they can go through the account with you.

Again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and are hopeful that the information provided addresses your concerns. If you have any questions you may contact me directly at (407) 532-5535.

Not a good company

I enrolled 3 1/2 years ago with credit card debt that I was hopelessly watching increase for years, no matter how hard I tried to prevent it. I just logged in to check my balance to see that my final payment is coming up this month and I will be completely free of ALL credit card debt! Paying the minimum payment without InCharge would have taken me 30 years to pay off my credit card debt. Thank you!

InCharge Debt Solutions. Response • Mar 14, 2018

So I been with the program for 2 months with a total debt of $10k and 2 of my cards are still having late fees due to the company's inept payment procedure.I have tried reaching out to my counselor Carla but keep being put of or not having my calls returned.Other representatives I have spoken with are very rude and could not resolve my issues .I would say they have no problem taking your money but have a hard time distributing it to your creditors. So far I have paid out over 200 in late fees not including my monthly payment. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is.
