Incredible Auto Sales Reviews (%countItem)

Went with my grand daughter to look at a car. Bad smell came from running the air conditioner. My grand daughter has sent texts and got 2 responses but nothing after that so she could set up and appointment to have the problem fixed. I picked up the plates for her and told the guy my grand daughter has been trying to reach him and he said he never received a text from her. My grand daughter showed me the text to and from him.
Front driver side tire was low and was told it's because it was sitting for a while. Turns out it was a slow leak due to the baldness of the tires. Because we didn't say anything before signing the dotted line they will not replace the tires. It's been more than a month now and still haven't been able to get an appointment.
My grand daughter received a call last week stating her registration and plates had come in. She told that person she has been trying to get her vehicle in to fix the air conditioner. He said he would ask his boss and get back. Still haven't heard from him either. My grand daughter was told by the company they wouldn't be _ _ _ holes if there are issues. Their communication skills need work!
My grand daughter was told they have a mechanic check over the cars before they are sold to make sure everything is in good condition. I am surprised the tires passed his inspection. 2 weeks after the purchase she had a hose explode and had to have it replaced.
It has been not quite 4 months since my granddaughter purchased a car from this dealership and felt it important to add to my previous review. Within 2 months of purchase, a new battery had to be purchased. I drove the car myself within 2 months of purchase and notice the transmission slipping.
I was quite concerned realizing the transmission was probably going out. And unfortunately, within 4 months of purchasing the car, it completely went out. I called Incredible Auto Sales and ask to speak with the owner. They would not let me speak with the owner, told me I didn't need to speak with him and was transferred to Misty, the manager.
I told Misty the news and ask for the $6000.00 to be returned to my granddaughter. Of course, she refused and said she could "get their cost" for repairs. I told her we needed to know ASAP. I called her back in 2 days and she said they hadn't got back to here yet. She said she would call again.
I called again in 2 days, and she told me they hadn't contacted her yet. She stated, "since I am a girl, they probably don't want to contact me." She said she would call again. I called on Monday, after the weekend and ask again. She told me she called me and said my voice mail was full and she couldn't leave a message.
I check my voice mail regularly and told her this. Not sure why she felt she needed to lie to me. She then gave me a quote she received from Murdock Chevrolet in Bountiful, $4100.00. Told her I received a quote for about the same amount from the mechanic I go to here in West Jordan.
I then called Murdock Chevrolet in Bountiful and ask what the cost is for replacing a transmission. I was quoted around $4,400.00. I was told this is the price that is given to everyone including local dealerships including Incredible Auto Sales.
Again, Misty lied to me about the quote. My guess is she didn't call Murdock Chevrolet and gave me a number she thought would work. She originally told me they had 3 people they work with. Not sure why she didn't give me quotes from any other mechanics.
I unfortunately can't prove this dealership new about the problems before the car was sold. We were told the car is gone through thoroughly for any issues. We have paperwork stating this. If the car was gone through thoroughly, how did the battery not show it was bad. How did the transmission fluid not get checked. The transmission fluid was thick and black and had all kinds of metal pieces in the fluid.
My granddaughter put her trust in these people and was totally "SCREWED" by them. They either knew of the problems or they just don't care if a car has problems before they sell. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!! If you do and you have problems, they will not help you.

My children bought me a car for my birthday. We went to Incredible Auto Sales in North Salt Lake to look at a used Buick. The salesman pointed out several little things that they would repair for us, if we bought the car. The finance officer agreed and put about half of what we discussed down in a written agreement. Because we were so excited about the car, we failed to notice the list did not mention every repair item discussed verbally with the salesman.

We emailed, faxed, and called the dealership, but they ignored our attempts to schedule repairs. My daughter called them and left a message saying we would drop the car off July 26th, 2019. On my birthday, we took a small vacation to Ogden Canyon and dropped the car off on our way out of town that day. The salesman met us at the dealership, went over all the items they would fix, and showed us where to park the car.

When we returned to pick the car up two days later, it was evident the car had not been moved from that spot. They had rigged the front seat adjuster to appear as if they had fixed it. However, the seat has since slipped back five times. When I took the car into two different Buick dealerships, they showed me that the adjuster was still faulty. In addition, none of the other promised work was started.

The Incredible Auto Sales General Manager stated that the salesman was new and that they don’t usually repair things after the car is sold. When we bought the car, we received a We Owe You list. It showed all the things the dealership had promised to repair after we purchased the car.

After doing some research for a new car on the internet, I found one at a place called Incredible Auto Sales in North Salt Lake, Utah. I Called the dealership and asked if the vehicle was still on the lot and after they confirmed it was I told them about my situation with my credit and that it was pretty bad, the person on the phone said they do their own financing and with a good down payment they could get anyone financed, I asked what a good down payment was and they responded saying usually one third of the sticker price of the car you want to purchase. So on November 12, 2019 I went to this dealership to look at and drive this vehicle. After the initial test drive I decided I liked at and wanted to purchase it, I was talking to a Sales person Named Alli, I informed her of my situation with my credit and it not being that good and would like to try to get the 2,000 dollars I would need financed on this car that was a sticker price of 2,995 dollars, I told her I could put a down payment of 1,000 dollars and informed her I just needed to run and grab it. She handed me the keys to the car I was wanting to purchase and told I could run and grab it. Unfortunately my bank does not have a branch close to the car dealership, so I decided to get the money from an ATM, after I had withdrew 400 dollars my bank would not allow me to withdraw any more money that day, so with that 400 dollars and another 100 dollars I had on me I returned to the car dealership. As I was going to the bank I realized I was rushing the deal and should have a friend who is an auto mechanic return the next day with me to look over the vehicle. When I returned to the dealership I sat down with my sales associate Alli and told her that I would like to return tomorrow to have a friend look at everything to make sure engine and transmission were good, she said that wouldn’t be a problem at which point I asked her about the me putting money down and them trying to get me financed and I asked if I don’t get approved the money I’m giving you to run my credit thru your lenders will I get returned to me if I’m not approved for the remaining amount, she said absolutely. So after talking some more and asking her if my money would be returned to me if someone but the car between now and when I return tomorrow and her telling me it would be because your not putting the money down to hold the car for 10 days, which is a practice of there’s which was also non-refundable, and that this was for the 1,000 dollar down payment on a car that cost 2,995 dollars to try and get you financed for the remaining 2,000 dollars. So with that being talked about I handed her the 500 Dollars I had in my wallet and told her I would be back the following day with my friend, she went on to tell me that tomorrow was her day off but if my mechanic said the car was good to go than I could call her cell phone and she would come in to work on my deal. I left the car dealership after I had felt that everything was covered and even if there was something wrong with the car, the money I gave her would be returned to me tomorrow if I wasn’t going to purchase the car. I got home 2hrs later and got a call that the Temp yo Hire Job I was currently employed with had come to an end and I would not be needing to return to work. The car dealership had already closed by the time I got the call and I figured I would call Alli I the morning and tell her my circumstances had changed and I would come to collect the 500 dollars I had given her. That night I experienced not one seizure but two seizures, and was taken to the ER by my girlfriend at about 4:30 AM. I was kept at the hospital till about 3:30 PM the following day, after the doctor had cleared me to go home. I got back to my home and was pretty out of it from the ordeal I had experienced and I decided I was going to eat and get some sleep, which is exactly what I did and didn’t get feeling well enough to be on my feet till early Sunday morning, which would of been November 17th, 2019 and also when I decided that I would just have a friend take me back to Incredible Auto Sales the next day Monday November 18th, 2019 so I could inform Alli of my current situation with my job and that I would have to put off the purchase of a new Car till I got a new job and had some time with that new job, and I could also collect the 500 dollars I had given her that was going to be apart of my down payment. The next day I got on the car dealerships website and observed the car had not been sold yet, at which point my friend was on his way to my house to grab me and give me a ride to Incredible Auto Sales, when I got to the dealership I was informed by Misty that Alli wasn’t In and asked how I could be helped, I went on to inform her of the events that transpired with my job and that I would no longer be able to purchase a car till I got a new job and got settled in, I went on to explain to her that I had given Alli 500 dollars that was going to be used as part of more money I was going to use as a Down payment, but as I was no longer purchasing the car I would just need to get that money back, Misty went on to say that she couldn’t do anything about that cause it was Alli’s deal so she would need to be here and that the finance manager was on vacation and he was the only person in that dealership authorized to cut checks, I gave her my info and asked her if she could have Alli call me. I don’t know if that message was delivered as I never got a call/text/or email from Alli, I was informed the Finance Manager would be back to work on Monday November 25th 2019, I had expected to get a phone call by end of business day telling me I could come pick up the money and that the Finance Manager had cut the check, by 7 PM I still had received no call. The next day Tuesday November 26th, 2019 I had decided to return to the Incredible Auto Sales dealership and see what was going on and talk to Alli face to face, when I got to the dealership on November 26th, 2019 I was greeted by Alli who was finishing up with a customer and asked if I could wait just a minute, I proceeded to wait and once she had finished up and came over to me I went on and told her about what had happened with my job and my health, I did not go into details with her about why I went to the hospital as I didn’t feel that anything prevalent to what was going on with me purchasing a car, after I finished telling her and telling her I was just here to get the 500 dollars I had already given her that was going to be used as the 1,000 dollars I would be using as a down payment on the car, she went on to tell me I would need to speak to the sales manager Misty. I waited another 15 minutes until Misty was available for me at which point I went in to her office and told her the same thing I had just told Alli pretty much verbatim. Misty went on to tell me that the 500 dollars I had given Alli on 11/12/2019 was so they hold the car for 10 days and not allow another person to purchase the car and so that 500 dollars was non-refundable. Misty went on to tell me that it costs money to list and Unlist cars on their lot for sale and that when they hold the car for 10 days they were taking the car off the website and that costs money, she went on to explain to me that if that car was purchased before or on that 10 day expiration date the 500 would be used as part of the money used to purchase the car, and if the 10 point had come and Expired and no deal was done on the car then that 500 dollars used to hold the car would be used as part of the cost of it costing them to unlist the car and then relist it if a deal had not been reached and since there was no deal in place by the 10 day point that had expired for me for the car I was wanting to purchase that she was it willing to give me money back. I was pretty angry and walked out of the office and was calmed down half way to my friends car and which point I was asked by my friend if Misty or Alli had produced any form I had signed agreeing to those terms for that 500 dollars I had given Alli on 11/12/2019 and the answer was no, as was no the answer for had I reached any verbal contract with Alli about that 500 dollars going to be used to hold the car for 10 days, I had also remembered the conversation I had on 11/12/2019 with Alli and her remarks about that 500 dollars being completely refundable as I was not using it to hold the car for 10 days, I had also remembered on the day of Monday November 18th 2019 before returning to the Incredible Auto Sales dealership I had been online and noticed then 6 days later the car I was wanting to purchase still being on the dealerships website and that it had not been sold, going against everything Misty had just told me. I proceeded to turn around and walk back into the dealership and Into Misty’s offices and asked her if she could produce the document I would of signed before I handed over 500 dollars to hold a car for ten days, after her searching for 5 minutes with me standing there she asked if I could give her a minute and she would come find me on the waiting area once she had retrieved the contract I signed, after 30 minutes of waiting in the area I was told by Misty that they couldn’t find my document and that she would be willing to cut the cost with me and have a check of 250 dollars cut for me and that was the best she could do for me tonight otherwise I wouldn’t be able to get any of that money. At this point I was already nervous about getting any of the 500 dollars of mine I had given Alli back to me at all, and with me being out of a job it was simple math to walk out of that dealership with nothing or at least 250 dollars and keep food in mine and my girlfriends stomach, I also began to wonder about the comment made by Misty just then and her saying if I didn’t take the 250 dollars then or I wouldn’t get anything making me to think she would take my signature from the form I used when I took the car on a test drive and had to give them my license to scan and then sign a document saying I understood what would happen if I was involved in an accident while on the test drive, which was the only document I signed on 11/12/2019, and they would take my signature and put it on a contract stating I knew the 500 dollars I was giving Alli was to hold the vehicle for 10 days. I decided to take the 250 dollars instead of going home with nothing, and that life was pretty important to me then and so also would be money to feed myself and my girlfriend, money I wouldn’t be getting from a job anymore. They went on to cut me a check for 250 dollars
and I left, upon my drive home and talking to a friend who was also a law school student and him asking me if I signed anything agreeing to their terms of the 250 dollars that wasn’t being returned to me to which I replied that I did not sign anything and no verbal contract was met. He went on to offer me the advice of obtaining legal counsel for the remaining 250 dollars and that the cost of obtaining the 250 dollars was not worth the cost I was going to spend on legal counsel, and that I should contact the Revdex.com and I should file a complaint with them and hopefully be able to come to a resolution that way, which is what I have done and the reason for the lengthy message. Please help me as this is not fair and very cruel practice, especially when the practice they are trying to use from you getting your down payment money with was in no were near why the 500 dollars was being given in the first place. They are using this practice of theirs as they see fit and when it suits them, If you put 500 dollars Down they would hold the car you want to purchase for ten days and take it off their website as being available for purchase at their dealership and if a deal was met before or on the 10th day and that the 10th day had not come and gone that the 500 dollars would be used as part of the purchase price to purchase the car you wanted, but if 10 days came and gone with no deal being met the 500 dollars of your money to hold the car would be used to expenditure the cost of un-listing the car as available for purchase at their dealership and then re-listing the car as being available had a deal not been met at the 10 day point. Also I looked at their website at the 6 day point to see if that car was still available and it was still listed for sale on their website which violated their own terms of their 10 day hold for 500 dollars deal, and goes on to show that they are willing to use this 10 day hold deal for 500 dollars at their advantage and when it suits and comforts them, as well as going on to show that even with the car that Alli the sales associate knew I wanted to purchase and myself knowing I wanted to purchase that no deal for a 10 day/500 dollars deal ever met or agreed upon by either party and that neither party had agreed orally or verbally to any such contract. I was also instructed that at any point in the future I could return and the Remaining 250 dollars would be available for me to use to purchase any other vehicle. I’m sorry that whole deal just seems a bit of a scam to me especially if they have a customer in a situation who has bad credit and they are not able to get him approved for a loan on that initial day he walks in to purchase a car but if he puts 500 dollars down they would make sure that car is made available to him and him only while they work to get him a car loan. Car dealerships can tell when someone is going to get approved for a car loan and someone who has some work to do on his credit before he will get approved, at which point they realize their time was just wasted and they try and sell you that 10 day hold deal knowing 10 days will come and go without them getting approved for that car loan, but their time is salvageable cause they just got the dealership and the dealership won’t have to lift a hand about anything and it’s pretty much free money. I would like to obtain the 250 dollars that Incredible Auto Sales still has of mine and make it known to the Revdex.com of this businesses tactics and the lengths they are willing to go to so they can obtain a single dollar from the customer.

Two weeks ago I purchased a 2013 Volkswagen Sportwagen TDI from Incredible Auto Sales. During the purchase I asked about a second key, as the tag listed it as 1/2 keys. Picture below. I have audio recordings of Jaden promising that the second key would be located and mailed to me, as they were having trouble finding it.

Jaden stated he would reach out to me by the following Monday. I gave him another week beyond Monday, in case he mailed it without reaching out.

I called yesterday at 1:16pm and reminded him. He apologized for having forgot and spent some minutes looking for the key. Eventually he got back on the line, letting me know that he called a lady who is in charge of keys, that she was going to look into it, and that he would call me back when he heard from her. He verified my cell phone number before we closed the call.

I haven't received any communication since then. I am looking for some accountability for promised follow ups. I need a second key so that my spouse can drive when I am at work. I sent this exact message to Misty, who managed the paperwork for the sale.

Key Tag # *** , *** , Marked 1/2 and "68" with sharpie.

We bought a used car and we were told it was in excellent condition. We didn't even get it home. It ran out of gas because gas gauge is broken. The next day we couldn't even drive it because we had to spent over $1000 more for repairs the same week. I called them less than 24 hours of buying the car and I was told numerous times that the owner Craig would call me back to discuss it. He never did. Just to make it run we had to pay for Radiator ,fluid replaced, water pump belt, Idler pump tension. We could not afford to fix the gas gauge or the battery.

I bought a 2005 buick Rainier on March 6th 2019. I worked with a salesman name Chris, we came to a price of $3100.00. I left a check k with him with the understanding that I would have funds for him within a week, I told him I would call him to send the check through when the funds were in my account. The funds showed up a day earlier so I called Chris to let him know to send the heck through. I spoke to Misty and she said she would tell him to send the check through. 2 days later the check cleared. I expected to get my new title right away, I called and spoke to Misty and she had me speak to Tristen who does the paperwork to send out to the customers. She said that it would take a bit to get the paperwork to me because the check had not cleared their Bank yet, I said that it had to have because it was taken from my checking account already. She said it would take a bit to clear because I could make a stop payment on it, I said how could that be if the funds were already transferred to their account! She gave me some more run around and said she would look into it. I called a few days later to see if there was any news on where my new title to the vehicle was, she said no and that was why there was a 45 day temp sticker on the vehicle so they could get it back k to me in that time frame. If I am correct under Utah State law the dealership has 48 hours to get the new vehicle le title to the new owner. I have bought a couple of other vehicles from dealerships in Utah and I got the title back in 48 hours! So why does it take so long to get this title back after paying $499.00 for the do fees to cover to get the new title back! I am tired of the run around and nonsense I keep getting from these people! I want my title for the vehicle now!

4/20/18 I spoke to Michelle S asked her why it has so few miles she said “well it’s a rental and they rotate them frequently.” I specifically asked her does the car have a clean title? She said “yes” &shows the Carfax I test drive and buy car in office with the owner Craig W and her. 4/30/18 I notice wires hanging down laying on right front wheel. I take to Mark Miller Toyota and they tell me the car missing the R front fender liner and the hood prop rod retention clip. I go back to IAS (hour round trip) and ask Michelle did something happen to the car? She wont answer me. Instead she just says “we buy the cars and sell them as is.” Craig says “go ahead and order the liner.” And hurries away. I tell her about the missing clip. She says “my guy will fix it.” We schedule 5/2/18 2018 at noon. I arrived at 11:50 AM with my 3 yr old. Her “mechanic” never shows. They send me to Burt Brothers to install it. I wait 2 hrs they say it’s wrong part. She says she will reorder it. They comment it’s been in a wreck. I take the car into Tunex. He looks at it and confirms it was in a collision and the repair work is “terrible” 5/3/18 I take it to Larry H. Miller Toyota have a complete work up of car to confirm what last 3 mechanics said. I go back to IAS w/ report which states the car was in a collision and was rebuilt with rusty salvaged parts from a junkyard. It will cost 3,675 + labor. They deny any knowledge and Michelle refuses to give me Craigs phone #, card, or schedule she calls him and he refuses to talk to me He says he will call me in 2 hrs. We sit and wait but never does. He texts me later I again explain the issue he just denies it.He schedules to meet me at 2 pm 5/4 asks me to bring in car to his guy who confirms the car was in a wreck. He claims the car is “mechanically sound” and merely has “surface rust.” I call Craig he sends directlyto vcmail. He text me I can only trade it in while he “locates” another or he fix cosmetic only and refuses to meet me at 2 says “I won’t have time”.

We purchased a 2004 toyota sequoia from this dealership. Biggest regret ever. They did not disclose ANY issues with the suv, when we made it half way back home a 3 hour drive it started having issues. It was overheating, the locks stopped working and the radio didn't work the alarm went haywire and the check engine light came on. I took it to get the oil changed at the next opening (4 days later) we found out the head gasket is blown($5000.00 repair) the electric brain is bad($2000.00) and the alarm is bad ($1000.00) the dealership refuses to help with repair costs or to return us our car and reverse our transaction. It has been a month from when we purchased the Suv and we can't even register it because they won't send the title.
