Review: Increte of Houston did some stamped concrete work at my home. They did a patio and 2 sidewalks in front of my home. When they did the sidewalk from the house to the curb the first time it was not straight so after meeting with them they re-did it. When they re-did the work it was put down to thin and has started breaaking apart and coming up. After calling them several times they sent someone to my house and their employee told me and Increte that it was put down wrong and that he could not fix it. So I started calling again and was told it would be 3 weeks before they could do anything. I never heard from them. I kept calling and [redacted] told me he would get someone out to look at it, which he did and that it would cost me $800 to repair. We started noticing problems with this sidewalk a little over 2 years after it was put down. None of the other work is having this problem nor is my neighbor that I refer them too. All of the other overlayed concrete is 1/4" thick but this sidewalk is very thin maybe a 1/8".Desired Settlement: This sidewalk is in front of a custom built home and is very ugly. I want it fixed and I want Increte of Houston to show me they stand behind their work.

Re: Revdex.com Case # [redacted]
Dear Sir or Madame:
Increte of Houston (IoH) sincerely regrets [redacted]
experience and unsuccessful attempts to arrange repairs to a stamped concrete
overlay applied to the walkway at his home on or about April 18, 2011. Increte
management has reviewed the matter with employees who were in contact with [redacted] and discussed procedures for more effective customer communication.
An email from [redacted] was forwarded to me, [redacted], Director of Operations, October 28, 2014. The email simply stated
“Popping up” and included 4 pictures of damaged overlay we applied on or
about April 18, 2011. I contacted [redacted] by phone the same day. [redacted] advised me of his unsuccessful attempts to have the requested repairs
made as warranty work. He also informed me that the damage began to appear
around February of 2013. After reviewing the account history, I apologized
for our slow of response. I explained the our 12 month warranty against
defects in labor and materials stated in the terms of his contract which expired
April 30, 2012, more than 10 months before damaged appeared. [redacted]
stated he was willing to pay to have repaired made.
[redacted] requested repairs to 4 areas in the pictures sent
and to remove and replace an estimated,10 square feet of loose overlay. IoH
outsources all stamped overlay warranty and repair work to an Independent
Contractor, [redacted] repair bid to IoH was $550 in October. I bid the
repairs to [redacted] by phone on October 31, 2014, in the amount of $800.00.
[redacted] said he would get back to me. I did not hear from him again. I
received the Revdex.com complaint December 10, 2014 and responded to [redacted] by
email with an alternative offer the same day. Friday, December 12, 2014 I
reached by phone and discussed the offer sent in email. [redacted] could pay
our [redacted] directly at the wholesale rate and eliminate IoH charges. [redacted]
indicated he was pleased with the arrangement.
I contacted [redacted] who agreed complete the repairs for [redacted] directly for $550. I sent [redacted] a conformation email providing [redacted] phone number. The email includes my cell phone number and requests [redacted] call me directly if he has any problems or questions in the repair process.
