Review: I odered a 80 inch Sharp LC-80LE757U online from Independent Audio Video.

Their sales policy indicates that orders will be shipped in 7 to 10 days or the customer will be contacted for consent for more time. It is now well past 10 days and not only have they not contacted me, they are not taking my phone calls or responding to my email inquires. I called the order line from my work number they answered and directed to call another number. The voice mail box on that number was full and the phone hung up on me...so I would not leave a message. When I called the order line again, they did not answer. It is clear that they have no intention of delivering the product. I have sent an email to cancel the order, but received no response from them. Their site still has my order as pending and my credit card has not been credited. BTW: They immediately charged my credit card although they have not shipped the item. I have contacted my credit card company and advised them on the situation.Desired Settlement: Cancel the order and credit my credit card.

Review: Placed order for Krell S300 integrated amplifier on 20 Nov 2013 using Master Card. Credit card was charged $2000 and I have not received merchandise. I have tried contacting Customer Service on several occasions by telephone and by e-mail. I have not gotten a response to inquiries about shipping and availability. A Google search of the business shows several discussions about whether the business is legit or a scam. The Revdex.com has a rating of F for this business. I am concerned that I have been charged and have not received my order.Desired Settlement: I just want a full refund.

Review: independentaudiovideo.com ran an internet ad for two weeks offering to sell a Marantz TT-15S1 turntable for $925 + $38 shipping. There was no mention of 'one only' or 'limited quantity'. After much deliberation I purchased the unit online on Oct 15, 2013. Later that day I got a phone call from them stating that independentaudio.com only "had one unit which they sold" They would "make me a customer for life" by selling the turntable "for only $1200.00 plus shipping." I explained that that was bait-and-switch, at which time the caller swore at me and hug up the phone. Every dealer sells this turntable for $1200.Desired Settlement: I would like them to honor their advertised price of $925 + $38 shipping and deliver a new, factory sealed Marantz TT-15S1 as advertised.

Review: Ordered home electronics on Dec 24, 2013 totalling $2440 for AV Receiver and pair of speakers.

Repeated emails to http://www.independentaudiovideo.com/ Customer Service [redacted] between Dec 30 and Jan 6 got no response.

Calls 1st week of January to their Cust Service number (212) 496 2438 got many busy signals and finally phone not in service signal on Jan 9.

Going back to their website, it now says IndependentAudioVideo has closed it's business and terminated all operations on Dec 31, 2013.

Meanwhile they have charged my credit card for US$2440 and shipped nothing to me.

I believe taking my order on Dec 24 and closing business on Dec 31 is a fairly obvious attempt in fraud.

I remember the sales person Don Evans, probably an owner, was most eager to sell me products and gave me very compelling low price.Desired Settlement: I want full refund. Beware. Their actions are highly suspicious and dishonest and seems fraudulent.

Review: I got a confirmation email after ordering a pair of $850 speakers online. Nothing happened in the next 2 days until I called them, and one of their representative just said it was sold out, and tried to upsell a $1100 pair to me. Seems to me they just use the $850 speakers to hook people to provide credit card info.

What's more interesting, their contact numbers mostly will go to a service to "win" $100 voucher to just pay $1.5 processing fee, which sounds like a scam.

Definitely not trustworthy to me.Desired Settlement: Deliver confirmed order.
