On the date of July 11, 2015, F* Martin came into CJ Wilson Mazda of Wilson and purchased a Dodge Magnum with 85,miles on the carF* was sold the car as is, since there were no warranties left on the carWhile in finance F*
was offered a choice of different options in regards to warrantyF* refused, even signing stating that he is refuse any type of warranty on his Pre-Owned purchase F* came back to CJ Wilson Mazda of Ventura on 9-21-2015, months later stating that he hears a loud engine noise when starting and the car stallsWe sent the vehicle to a Dodge dealership(Crown Dodge) where the diagnoses was made that the engine would need to be replacedCrown Dodge quoted the repair job to be over $10, F* then contacted both my Service Manager and myself, to see what we can do to help his situation We (both my Service Manager and myself) met with F* and gave him the option of us (CJ Wilson Mazda of Ventura) installing a used engine and half the cost and offering a payment plan if he did the repair through usF* let us know he would get back to us to make his decision We have not heard back from F* in over weeks, until this morning when I received the complaint through Revdex.com We at CJ Wilson Mazda pride ourselves in going above and beyond for our customersI believe we did so in offering a 50% price difference then what another dealer was, by offering a used engine option I can fully understand that F* in being upset on what has happened, but to not be truthful and state that we did not care for his situation is incorrect
