Indian Brave Campground

Review: On June 22, 2014 I called this campground to get a site held due to the possibility of job going to PA the lady stated they had several spots and would be glad to take our name but they would have to have a credit card to hold site. The girl never said they would pop card for any amount. Two days later when I realized my account was withdrawn a large amount of $375.00 I called campground back whom had withdrew this amount without our authorization. The girl answering phone stated when I asked her why she said that was a deposit. I told her return it, we have never and would never put that much of a deposit down maybe a one night stay amount but not that much. I told her I wanted my money placed back on my card she stated they have a non-refund policy I told her I wanted it placed back on and that we were never told this amount or this policy she stated I will have to talk to my mother who is owner of park. Well a week later we found out job was not going to go to that area of PA and I called RV park again, this time my husband, [redacted], spoke with girl, again she stated they had a non- refund policy, he overheard my first call to reserve spot due to being on speaker phone, and he said we were never told this and again told her in no way a deposit in that amount. again she stated I will ask my mother and call you back.. Well no call back then Another week same process same response continued on every week and called again today 7/1/14 again same response (no refunds/have to ask my mother). We asked several times for a number to speak with mother/owner she stated this is only number available. No where on their website does it state no refund policy, how would we have known this when they did not tell us this when I first called. Please help me take care of this matter we would have never given a deposit in that amount on a non guaranteed visit. I am requesting legal or non legal way to resolve this. Thank you for any help you can provide.Desired Settlement: Full amount $375.00 by cashier check mailed to me, but preferable back on my credit card that they have number on if not I will provide
