I had work done on my shafts and seal at the Indian Head Chrysler on my 2011 truck. A couple months later my truck broke down again. So I had taken the truck to [redacted] to find out that the work at Indian head was to be repaired again. I had to leave the vehicle there as it was unsafe to take anywhere else. I had the repair done and it cost me over 800.00. I called Indian head to get reimbursed and they told to fax in the receipts and they would see what they could do and told me to get the parts and return them. I phoned [redacted] to get the parts they were already sent away. I had called back to Indian Head on July 10th and he out right told me that I couldn't get reimbursed. I explained again that it was unsafe to take the truck anywhere else and that it was because of their terrible work I had to take it in. [redacted]Desired Settlement[redacted] Business Response [redacted]The customer contacted our business and informed us of the repairs after the fact. A few this come into play in this case.1) we replaced only one axle shaft on the vehicle when it was here not both. 2) the part we replaced had a one year warranty with it from the manufacture and we tell all of our customer this when that is included in the repair.3) if they had contacted us or the customer help line from [redacted] they would have been told to take it to the nearest [redacted] dealership for warranty.4)We do not know for sure if the part that caused her trouble was the one we replaced or not with out having any parts to inspect or send in for warranty refund to [redacted].5) We have given her all options available to us to get her a refund, other that paying out of pocket from my dealershipWe have told the customer to send the originals of her bills to [redacted] with a letter stating her case and why she needs to be reimbursed. At this point in time without the parts that [redacted] replace we have no recourse to submit to [redacted]
