We were out of state for over 2 weeks yet our water bill wet up approx. $30. It was obvious to us that no one actually lifted the lid to the meter to check the water usage - grass was grown over it and would have been needed to be cleared to check it (This was Dec. when grass is mostly dormant). They suggested a leak, but when asked how I determine this issue no real answer was given. When I asked if I could speak with a "meter reader" to help me understand how they check it & how to tell if there is a leak, I was told that it was not their job to explain anything. The person to whom I was speaking to could not answer any of my questions (actually said that wasn't her area of knowledge), she just made conjectures using my information. I know I am screwed and have to pay this bill, but speaking to someone who knows what they are talking about would have given me a much better feeling about this company!
Terrible Staff and Management. Was told I made a payment arrangement to pay my bill BEFORE it was due, which I did not. Then my water was disconnected and I was forced to pay a reconnect fee of $25 for a bill that was not due for 5 more days. How can you turn someone's water off for not paying a bill early. Something shady is going on with this company.
