DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC! The factory-like atmosphere demotes individuals to cogs in a wheel, the 2-hours for each appointment are absurd, and the staff, although superficially friendly, are demeaningWhen I apparently didn't hear my name being called from the waiting room, the assistant made a derogatory remark to someone she was training, saying, "You have to get really close to the TV if you want them to hear you." Although I was sitting close to the TV, the reason I may not have heard her was the insufferable noise employees made, talking loudly to each other, and yelling unnecessarily loudly to call patients, who all sat in near absolute silence
When I was finally called in to an exam room, nearly hours after I arrived, and after a short vision test and dilation, it was evident the assistant had no idea why I was there, but insisted on talking over every single answer I tried to give her as she fired off questions that had no bearing whatsoever on today's visitI unfortunately told her, in answer to one of her questions, that I was interested, eventually, in getting a cataract removed from my right eyeDespite my attempt to re-direct her to the initial purpose of today's visit, she honed in on the cataract removal, subsequently telling me I was not a candidate for the surgery, since my vision in that eye was " correctable to 20/25" with glassesI knew that was incorrect, as my previous eye doctor had yearly recommended removal of the cataract, telling me that it was impossible to correct the vision in that eye effectively until the cataract was removedDespite any attempt on my part to explain to the assistant that her information must be mistaken, she continued to stridently insist on interrupting every sentence I started
When Dr*** finally came in, seeing she was questioning me, he told her he could come back in a few minutesIt was nearly 6:pm, and I said that I would like to talk to him insteadHe examined my left and right eyes, and immediately said I was a candidate for cataract removalTotally confused by now, when I told him (for clarification purposes only) the assistant had repeatedly told me I wasn't, and quoted the things she had said to me, she interrupted again to say, "That's not what I said!"I asked if it was possible to have another assistant, but Dr*** said she was the best in their office (!!), that they worked as a team, and he was unwilling to do my cataract surgery!
When I walked to the lobby and up to the desk and asked to check out, the assistant there gave me a withering look, and told me to sit down, that she was helping another patient--who just then walked up behind me
There is absolutely nothing professional or truly patient-friendly about this assembly-line shop pretending to be a professional clinicI cannot recommend a single thing about itAfter waiting patiently an interminable amount of time in the waiting room, when I was finally called to an exam room, they rushed the actual appointment, apparently so they could go homeMy last appointment there a few weeks ago took over three hoursA truly horrible experience!
The good news is that I can surely find an eye doctor of equal or greater expertise who won't keep me waiting for 2-hours, with staff members who treat patients with respect
