Surgery procedure went great!!! IU Health has an awesome staff. Billing is horrible!!!! I had to notify the billing department in January 2016 when bills from my July 2014 surgery were still outstanding. I worked well with the group. The final billing came through in March. I was sent to collections in April. The process took 1 1/2 years to resolve on their end, but I should come up with payment within a month. My health saving account would not make the payment, since this was for services performed in 2014 and we were in 2016. I think this was very unreasonable for IU Health not to contact me concerning my bill, since I had been working with them in months prior.
