Indianapolis Concrete, Inc. Reviews (2)

When we replaced Mr& Mrs***'s front porch and walkway everything was in great conditionWe then received a call from Mr*** about a month later saying the concrete had not cured out correctlySo I went over and met with Mr*** to review the concrete with himThere were some
darker spots where the sealer had not allowed the concrete to turn whiteThis was a sealer issue, sealer is unpredictable and reacts this way at timesSealer is not warranted but to satisfy the customer we went ahead and stripped the old sealer off, and then re sealed the concrete with a water base sealer so that it didn't change the colorDuring this process the new sealer we put on ran down the face of the porch, creating a stain on the faceAlso, when we stripped the old sealer off a hole developed in the walk which we patched and the color did not match. I then met with Mr*** again at 9:am on May 17th, where I had given him a couple options1st was to tear out and start all over, which he declinedThe 2nd option was to do a Gray color seal on everything and give him a life time warranty on the sealer, which he said "sounds great to me, but let me discuss with my wife"About hours later he called me back, stating that was the option they wanted to go withAbout weeks later I sent William out the the *** residence to proceed with the approved fixAt that time *** *** came out to ask William what he was about to do and William informed him what he was about to do then *** at that point declined the agreed fixWilliam immediately called me, to tell me that *** had declined the agreed fixAfter I spoke with William, I immediately called Mr*** to see why he had declined the work that we had agreed on week priorHe stated, "I'm sorry, but I must have been confused as to what you had proposed"We have spent many man hours trying to make Mrand Mrs*** happy with the product that we provided to them with no successEverything that we did at the *** residence far exceeds the industry standards and all their complaints are cosmeticThe color seal option still stands

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the? response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined the response? would not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The response from the company contains several statements that are not true.? First, the company is making this sound like we have been demanding and troublesome which could not be further from the truth.? ? After the initial installation, Josh came out and agreed that the concrete didn't look good and felt that the first best option was to power wash and reseal the concrete.? He sent out a couple of guys to do this and his own statement said that they put down a water based sealer so that the color would not change. In following the wording in his statement, this water based sealer ran down the porch causing the long ugly gray stains that dripped down the porch.? I am confused as to how the "clear sealer" didn't change the color on the sidewalk which is what we had stressed all along, but this same sealer stained the porch so badly.? ? We were always told by the various people who came out (only after we called the office several times), that gray sealer was the only option and we didn't want the sidewalk and porch to be a darker color.? We were told that they would the whole job, and we verbalized we felt that was too drastic and expensive to them, (many would have jumped right on that), and always have tried to work out a solution best for both parties.? I told William and the other guy during the last visit that of course I didn't like the dark gray patch on the hole on the sidewalk and was disappointed, but willing to live with it.Regarding William and the other person who were at our home during the last visit (again at our calling), they came out and started power washing the porch and my husband stopped them from continuing onto the sidewalk.? They then told Mr*** they had another job to do and left for the entire day and didn't return until well after 5:00.? ? At that time, they wire brushed the porch, and said they would come back and do an overlay on the face of the porch only.? We agreed that would be ok, but they never said when they would be back, and days later, no one from the company had called to make arrangements to do this. The company has failed to mention that we have in fact been quite amicable? during this process.? Had the same person come out each time to see the completion through, rather than sending out different people who were throwing out different options to us each time, this lengthy process could well have been avoided.? ? As it stands now, I don't know if our sidewalk and porch are sealed at all, (I'm hoping the statement about the water based sealer being put down on the sidewalk is true as I wasn't there, and Mr*** didn't hover)? We just want the face of the porch finished and sealed and assurance that the sidewalk is sealed.? ? Regards,*** ***
