told that the convenience fee of $was a non-refundable fee charged by the company who processes our credit and debit card payments.Mr***’s application was denied due to his failure to meet the site’s approval criteriaHe was given a copy of the site’s approval criteria at the time of application, which he acknowledged and signedA voicemail was left for him on 10/4/informing him that his application was deniedA refund for his $administrative fee was processed and mailed to the address we had on file for him on October 23rdThe check number was ***We heard nothing more from Mr*** until early November when he called to say he hadn’t received his refund checkThe Property Manager confirmed that the check had been sent to the correct address, gave him the check number and told him the date the check had been cutSince Mr*** had not received the check and we had sent it to the correct address, we informed him the check must have been lost in the mail.The Property Manager offered to call the site accountant to try and have a check overnighted to Indigo Creek that Mr*** could pick up immediatelyTwo days later, a check was overnighted to the propertyThe Property Manager called Mr*** and let him know that there was a check at Indigo Creek available for him to pick up immediately.Mr ***’s initial refund check was processed in a timely manner and was mailed to the correct addressIt is unfortunate that the initial check was lost in the mail, but this is something that is out of our control and we did expedite another check for himWe are sorry that any miscommunication occurred regarding our ability to overnight Mr***’s refund checkHowever, we were able to correct this issue of the lost check immediately when we were made aware of the situationMr*** picked up his refund check in the amount of $on Saturday, November 18th
