Hello [redacted]!I have taken the time tonight to review over 83 different emails that occurred during your time as a student at [redacted] Institute with our billing team and several members of our board of directors. We have also reviewed the letter you sent to the Revdex.com. I truly honor...

the time you have spent with us as a student, and I am sorry you had such a negative experience. After getting feedback from our team, we put together a plan for moving forward and have tried to address all of your concerns and requests here :) There were many conflicting messages that we reviewed. We received an email from you in June stating you wanted to restart your Scholarship fee payments, as you had received communication from us about the transition into our new course portals. We tried to address the most pressing issues below,Complaint 1: Refund Requested1a. When you registered as a student in the Fall of 2016 at [redacted] Institute, you signed a Student Registration Agreement, in this agreement it clearly states that if you withdraw from your courses within the first 30 days you can receive a refund in full for the course. You have been enrolled in the course now for 8 months, according to our policy, even if you withdraw from your courses, we cannot issue a refund for the scholarship fees you have paid. This is because when you received the scholarships and entered into a contract to pay the scholarship fee over 11 months, you also received 3 Welcome Kits that totaled $265 in value, 6 attunements you received in the courses also total $750. According to our policy we are unable to process a refund for the scholarship fees you paid, also the services rendered were in excess of the fees you paid. If you choose to withdraw from these courses now, you will still owe the balance of your scholarship fees. 1b. When you registered as a student in the Spring of 2017 for the USUI Reiki Master Training, and you were awarded a Scholarship, you also entered into a contract to pay a monthly fee. Since you never started that course, as it is it now scheduled to begin in the Summer Semester, if you withdraw from that course, we can refund you all fees you paid for that course. 1c. We had two packages that were returned to us that were mailed out to via [redacted]. One was from OM Apothecary with a Kyanite Healing Set from January of this year. I will prepare another email from OM Apothecary tomorrow sharing the details about that package. The second package that was returned was your second Welcome Kit. If you choose to move forward with your courses, we can send that back out to you.Our Solution: To withdraw from your courses, you can complete this form. You will have to complete it once for every course you want to withdraw from. You will still owe the balance of your scholarship fees from your first three courses. If you choose to stay enrolled in the courses and move forward, you can choose a date in the future for the scholarship fees to begin again. Once you respond to this email or withdraw from your courses, our billing team will prepare an invoice for you and a plan for moving forward :)Complaint 2: Stopped Communication2a. In your letter to the Revdex.com later that month, you report that you had not received communication since October of 2016. Our email records show you received all of our emails that we sent to students through May of 2017. You also sent us an email in June of 2016 stating you received our last email and were interested in restarting your scholarship fee payments.2b. Our phone number is 1-[redacted]. That will ring right in our office, or you can leave a message on a secure line. I am sorry if you called another number listed on [redacted], we will research the phone numbers we have posted there, it may have been an old number you called. There are no private home numbers that we have ever used.Our Solution: In all of our communication via email and in our [redacted] groups, we encourage you to schedule an in person phone call. Often when you have so many issues that are unresolved, it is a better solution to talk in person. Here is the link to schedule that appointment.I hope this email helps you understand our policies, I am happy to talk to you in person if you have any more questions and if you decide to continue moving forward inside of the courses.
