First I would like to say that I have been in this business for For years and this is the first complaint I have personally ever receivedI take this as a personal affront, especially when the person doing the complaining has absolutely no idea of what “best commercial practice“
in skidding is and has no idea of the actual facts
Secondly he lists "Joe Ippolito" as the salesmanHe had at least ten conversations with meHe shoudl at the very least know that I was the salesmanJoe Ippolito was the foreman on the jobHe is our best packer and he has been in this business almost as long as me
This light machine (approximately 1800#) was placed on the custom pallet blocked all around the base, strapped with two 3/cordstrap bands, know in the industry as synthetic steel (breaking strength each 1574# for a total of 3.148# combined) and then stretch wrapped
The monitor was bubble wrapped placed in a box and secured inside the machineThe die and keyboard were bubble wrapped and placed inside the door
This machine could be lifted and turned upside down and it would not come free of the skidYou'd have to drop the unit off a cliff for the monitor, keyboard and die to be damaged
Please review the attached pictured and contact me if there is any further discussion needed on this matter

I am rejecting this response because:
Please review attached image showing loose banding of machine at destination
This job, by any standard, was poorly performed, and the machine was in danger during transportation
The supplier neglected our request to fix banding and machine had to be shipped with sub standard banding
It was only luck it did not get damaged
Only the monitor was placed in a box as We requested
Therefore We request a refund or at least, an acknowldgement from this supplier about their responsibility of this poor banding

Review: Rigger did not finish packaging our steel rule bending machine properly. The machine monitor and its die were left unpacked and loose inside the machine. The machine is TOP-HEAVY and Rigger did not put cross banding.Job was paid in advance.Desired Settlement: We request rigger to properly finish the job

First I would like to say that I have been in this business for For 46 years and this is the first complaint I have personally ever received. I take this as a personal affront, especially when the person doing the complaining has absolutely no idea of what “best commercial practice“ in skidding is and has no idea of the actual facts.

This light machine (approximately 1800#) was placed on the custom pallet blocked all around the base, strapped with two 3/4 cordstrap bands, know in the industry as synthetic steel (breaking strength each 1574# for a total of 3.148# combined) and then stretch wrapped

The monitor was bubble wrapped placed in a box and secured inside the machine. The die and keyboard were bubble wrapped and placed inside the door

This machine could be lifted and turned upside down and it would not come free of the skid. You'd have to drop the unit off a cliff for the monitor, keyboard and die to be damaged.
