Mr *** has raised a number of issues that we cannot resolve without a reference to the original agreement that he signed.That agreement describes the steps we have taken because of his absences during his training program, and provides for a means of resolving any differences between the school and the student.We have made several attempts to explain the situation to Mr*** and we will continue to work with him to try to resolve these differencesWe do however continue to believe that the agreement he signed with the school is valid and in effect.We believe we can still resolve these differences and have him successfully complete his training, but we must do so in the context of the agreement that he signed with the school.Progressive

at $per hour right away She agreed to the price and we scheduled the call,In fact, she gave us a credit card to hold for payment, accepting this rate That five hours included professional software or tool calibration necessary for her application, travel from the old eagle river store location to her house and back (not from the Wausau location as she presumed in her complaint), and time spent by our technician at her house An easy Google Maps search would identify the trip to take minutes each way. *** ***, the owner of the company, called Ms*** to work this out and to come to an agreement with no return phone call.Our technician was onsite, and delayed less than minutes due to not having the house code*** had given us this information but our technicians WO didn't reflect that new information.The site search was completed successfully and she was given the results of our findings of no foreign devices. Later she called and requested additional reports. All additional reporting was added to the bill increasing the charges to six hours.Due to ***'s complaint regarding the technicians not having the house code, Dream Systems did a generous courtesy credit of one hour and forty five minutes to *** bringing the total to less than she initially agreed to The job was completed to her satisfaction, additional reports were provided that were not in the initial agreement, and she was charged a discounted four hours and fifteen minutes instead of her agreed pricing of five hours. If *** was unsatisfied with the pricing of five hours provided to her before any scheduling was made, it would have been her responsibility to not accept the pricing and look elsewhereHowever she did not dispute the five hours at $95, we rendered the service as promised, gave additional free services and courteously discounted her bill None of this was disputed in her complaintThe invoice needs to be paid and remains open

[redacted] entered the school but was not able to receive a CDL from the [redacted] of Illinois because of his legal status in the industry.When we became aware of the issue with his status, we refunded the amount of his tuition owed under his contract.We could not refund the amount of the drug test, as he had...

already taken the test and it was provided by an outside vendor.We also offered him the opportunity to return a textbook that he had purchased.We have attempted to contact him so that he can return the textbook and receive credit for that purchase.

Mr [redacted] executed and agreement to join our school and paid an initial amount of $743 to begin his classes. That initial cost included a downpayment on the tuition and costs for a drug test and textbook. The cost of the drug test is not refundable and he chose not to return the textbook after his...

withdrawal.After he withdrew from the school, we returned $500 to Mr. [redacted], which represented his initial downpayment minus the drug test and textbook costs. In addition, the agreement which he signed allows us to charge a non-refundable registration fee of $100.When we returned $500 to him on his credit card, he disputed the entire original charge of $743, which the bank subsequently credited to us because we have the documentation that proves the charge is justified. As it stands now, we are in compliance with our agreement with him and have retained the $243 owed to the school, including the $68 for the drug test he took, $75 for the textbook he never returned, and $100 for the registration fee.We believe that no futher action is necessary at his time. We have provided an explanation of this matter to Mr. [redacted], and will provide a written one if he so requests.

I am rejecting this response because: the agreement is illegal.  Progressive school is charging me if I miss 8 hrs or more of school when I already paid progressive for those hours.  Why would I pay double for hours I already paid for upfront before school began? This is an illegal practice!! progressive keeps jacking up the price that was already paid for and agreed upon. Progressive wants to talk about agreements I was in class 3 days out of one week and on several different separate occasions without an instructor present.  We were left to learn on our own. progressive keeps telling me that they can review video tapes to verify my attendance please verify yours tapes to see your instructors missing!!!!! Thats not what I paid for I paid for progressive to teach me and guide me through this experience of obtaining my cdl license. Progressive did not follow through with there agreement at all. I barely received actual hands on driving time in the truck. I paid for 20 hrs of "actual"driving time by I only received 4 hrs then they Cooked there books saying I did 19 hrs of truck time. When I addressed this issue with progressive they said because I was in the truck that was my truck time. I was observing so I wasn't actually driving  the truck which is what I'm paying progressive for to learn how to drive a semi-truck. This school is ridiculous and refuses to do what's right.

Onc our staff at Progressive identified that Mr. [redacted] was not qualified to attend the school, we accepted his withdrawal and agreed to issue him a refund. Charges associated with a registration fee, DOT physical, drug testing and books are...

not refundable.
Since we received Mr. [redacted]'s written request to withdraw, we had made several attempts to retrieve a credit card number to process the refund. Now that we have that numbe, we are in the process of issuig the refund and that should be done within the next two ekeeks.
