Indy Wholesale Direct

I purchased GAP insurance when I bought a car from Indy Wholesale Direct, Carmel IN, back in September 2025. Unfortunately, I get hit on December 19, 2025, by an uninsured motorist and the car was totaled. Geiko paid out the claim for the value of the car which was approximately $12,000 to the lender. I then contacted Infinity Gap Insurance to file a claim for the remaining balance of approximately $2,000. I was informed by Infinity that the Gap insurance premium was never secured by Indy Wholesale Direct on my behalf and sent me a formal letter confirming this fact. I contacted Indy Wholesale Direct in late January only to learn that they were filing bankruptcy. The agent I spoke with stated that the company was working to get customers paid and would be in touch. After waiting over a week to hear back, I followed up with Indy Wholesale Direct and got their voicemail. It stated that the dealership was closed. At that point, I secured an attorney. My attorney has also made multiple attempts to resolve this issue with the dealership to no avail. Meanwhile, my credit continues to be negatively impacted. I have done all that I can do, including making the lender aware of the situation and providing accurate documentation. However, all they want is the $2,000+ for the remaining balance due on the car. This has been a nightmare! Somebody pocketed the money that was intended to cover GAP insurance and I'm left holding the bag.

Recently did we buy a used truck from Indy Wholesale Direct because their salesman said they would have their own mechanics inspect these vehicles before selling them. According to them our truck had a couple of minimal issues that would be covered under the warranty. So we bought and called the warranty company who now refuses to make ANY repairs on this truck because of its pre-existing conditions IWD never made us aware. Indy Wholesale Direct are truly dishonest people and scammers. Not only do they sell non-driving vehicles but they get you stuck in making car loan payments on a vehicle that isn't working and they refuse to repair. After a couple of times we used our truck it started leaking and shaking so bad it stopped working. Repairs are well over $10,000. Close to what we financed this vehicle although they told us repairs would be less than $1,000 and warranty would cover for it. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I bought a used car from indy wholesale direct . Very dishonest and do not waste your money on extended warranty . It sound good when they try to sell but wont cover anything and they decline your repairs . I wont recommond any of my friends to them and if in case you decide to buy a car there make sure you check the car with mechanic or you be end of like me with oil leaks and many more issues and they will waste your time and ignore your concerns .
