is because we do verify the piece count on every order before we proceed to the cleaning process, and that was exactly how we .1were able to determine that [redacted] order did not match the pieces she told us she was leaving with us, she dropped her order at approximately 04:15:18 pm on 02/17/16 we called her about an hour and a half later to inform her that her order did not match the piece count, she was unable to come in the same day so we held the he order until she was able to come in a few days later. At this point she agreed to double check her closet or her car or even the floor of her house, we agreed to check and double check in detail a second time around all of our orders for that particular day, approximately 150 orders, to no avail we even looked around the parking lot to see if it was dropped accidently. Ever since the computerization of the dry cleaning industry it is easier to control the accountability of every piece on every order. There can be human mistakes in the process of assembling where there can be an even swap, meaning one piece of garment from one order ending up in another order and vice versa, but this was not the case since we did not even process [redacted]'s order that day.I am sorry about [redacted]'s perception that she felt like she was not a good enough customer, that is what it is, just her perception, we honor and treat every customer the same regardless if they bring in one piece or one hundred pieces. Thanks to the computer system we are able to verify claims like [redacted] was making that she has been coming to us for ten years, our computer system is approximately 8 years old and in the history I was able to determine that the last time she came to our establishment was October 10, 2014, my only reason for checking the history was that [redacted] mentioned to me at least 4 times that sh has been using our service for the last ten years and it was only a mouse click away to verify the claim. Back in the day when there were no electronic record in the business, that was good argument to make the business person feel guilty and influence their reaction to a claim like this.I am sorry to say that it is impossible for me to stay in business if I have to assign a clerk to every customer that walks '"n the door, [redacted] was not happy that the clerk was engaged in tagging an order, and did not leave it midway to tag hers. That was not necessary, she making the situation impossible by demanding that we tag her clothes immediately and leave ourselves open to make errors. We verified her order, 1 blouse, 2 pants, and 3 two piece skirt suit for a total of 9 pieces, we kept it together in a separate bag with the ticket and tags. Just show how she misrepresented what she was leaving she said she had 1 blouse, I two piece woman's skirt suit, and 2 three piece woman's suit, the total is still 9 pieces but the pants did not match to make it a three piece suit. With all the evidence at my disposal I concluded that we did not make a mistake, I still agreed to let [redacted] have a $100.00 store credit and would like to let her know that that offer still stands. I have to disagree with her on how to run my business with regards to taking in and processing our orders. Thank you, Harry R**04/05/16

our condolences for her lost, and made an offer to her to re-clean and re-press all the garments she had concerns about without any additional cost to her. Just as a note we do have a sign that clearly states to "Please check all orders before leaving the store." and is conspicuously posted in full view of alt customers. We explained to [redacted] that the usual procedure, in all fairness, is that we must see the clothing, that is, actually look at the items, to acknowledge the claim especially when some time is passed since the garments were picked up, [redacted] agreed to bring the items when she finds some time. About a week later she called demanding a refund this time, her exact words were that "I reconsidered what I agreed to previously and decided that I want a full refund for the cost of cleaning". We forego our own rules to satisfy this customer who is not willing to allow us to correct the situation. However, we want to thank [redacted] for her patronage, she visited us twice in June 2015 and now in January 2018, we are looking forward to keeping our promise by keeping our offer open to re-do the garments at no additional charge. We are looking forward to serving you Indy's Cleaners
