Review: We selected this daycare facility primarily because of the level of security offered. During the past month of my daughter attending, their front door keypad (to gain access) had not worked one single time. After many complaints, they told me that a new keypad was ordered and they were waiting for delivery. Once the replacement keypad arrived, they assured me that it would be installed without delay and that the issue would be resolved. In the meantime they were going to be leaving the front door unlocked as long as the director ([redacted]) was at her desk only a few feet away. I understood that this would be the only time that it would be left unsecured. I then arrived and found the door unlocked at 630am when there was not someone readily available to watch the door. That afternoon I brought it up again to [redacted] expressing much concern, but was met only with comments regarding how it was out of her control and that they were waiting for an electrician. I was assured that "only our parents know that it is unlocked" which is not true. Anyone within eyesight could see parents gaining entry without any security in place. [redacted] was very unprofessional and didn't seem to find it to be an urgent matter at all. When I returned a couple of days later, I was met with a letter stating that my daughter was no longer allowed to attend because I was rude. I only stated facts about the situation and don't understand how that could be considered rude. I was not given even close to the level of security as I was promised and we were dismissed without warning. I feel that this was a vindictive act by [redacted] as she did not like being called out for not doing her most important job (to keep the kids safe).Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund to compensate for the lack of service that was promised.

Hello,My name is [redacted], owner of Kids' World Learning Center. AsI live in Arizona, [redacted] is the one in charge of my facility located inRancho Cordova. After speaking with both [redacted] and [redacted] who areco-directors of my facility the information provided by [redacted] was infact not all true. [redacted]'s office is directly next to the door so herleaving the door open while she is in her office would not be done because sheis fully capable of opening the door for the parents. As there was a few timesthe door was unlocked this was only when she was unable to be at her desk andthe door bell was not working. We open up at 630am so the door being unlockedat the time was because are opener had just walked in the door. [redacted] is doing everything in her power to get the securitydoor fixed but has had to run over many obstacles to get it done. She has keptme informed with each step. She has bought a new computer, a keyless entry padand relay box and had an electrician come out and install it. The next issue isthe wires are bad, so she has another electrician coming out to get thathandled. As we all understand the door security has not been working but it isnot a requirement of any center but is an added bonus to our school. [redacted] still used care every day from the time door worked until it stoppedworking, not to mention this is second time returning. His tuition is to takecare of his child, which was done and while the door was not working his childwas kept unharmed, fed and taken care of from hours ranging from 630a- 6p. As far as [redacted] dis-enrolling him from our program, shemade me aware of his rude behavior which we had an issue with in the past. When he voiced his concern with [redacted] she explained to him whatshe had been doing to get it fixed and he began to get loud, rude anddisrespectful making her feel uncomfortable. He gave her an ultimatum of whenit needed to be fixed by as if it was in her control. This was the final straw, she did not want to dis-enroll his child but she felt more comfortable askingthem to leave our center. He was issued a refund for the care he would not beusing but had already paid for. It is unfortunate that she had to take it tolengths of dis-enrolling him but to become loud and to scare my employees isunacceptable and back her up 100%! Since he still decided to use care during the time of thedoor keypad not working those days will not be refunded. He was dis-enrolled onJuly 22nd and was issued a refund for $70 since he was not going to be usingcare July 23rd or 24th. When he came in to get his refund and pickup his child, [redacted] had another employee stand with her because she feltuncomfortable being with him alone.
