I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The business response is in no way an accurate reflection of the events of that morningI hope, can assume, there are video tapes in the store that can be viewed to back up my version of eventsThe product was never "shown" to me out of the box, the return policy was never communicated verbally, and while my first interaction with the service agent was neither negative or positive in terms of tone...when I return the agent assisting me was extremely rudeThe product was not misusedIf it had been there would have been damage to the product, a dent a scratch, frayed wires etcInstead the piece of the charger that sticks into the phone simply broke off inside of the phoneI find it amusing that their response would in any way suggest that they appreciate their customers, or strive for customer service providing excellent serviceThe manager was literally napping on a desk and the attendant was beyond rudeThe store credit is not something I am interested as it seems to me that this store sells low end defective products with no regard to the customer experience when the products breakAdditionally, I have no interest in stepping foot in the store again because of the rude and aggressive manner to which I was spoken toI would like a refund for the amount of the purchase

We apologize that we cannot meet your requirements when it comes to giving a full refund. As you mentioned in you last response we do have cameras here and it would clearly show our employee open the product to show and explain how to use, the cameras will also show the employee actually using the product to charge your phone as you stepped out the store momentarily. Also we do not allow employees to "nap" on the job. We do have a backroom where our employees during break have the option to rest if not feeling well. We also apologize that you felt an "aggresive" vibe of any type, I assure you, that would be the last thing we would want a customer to feel. We still have your information here and will gladly credit your account for store credit. Thank you.

We strive on our customer service skills, and try to ensure every customer has a great experience. For this particular case this customer came into the store to purchase a mobile charger pack, the employee here happily showed and explained the customer the different options we had for mobile...

charging packs. The customer chose her option for the $49.99 product. Our technician opened the product for the customer to  show and test how the product works, the customer was satisfied and moved on with the purchase. During the transaction we explained the return policy as we do with every electronic product we sell. The customer came back 3 hours later with the device clearly broken from misuse, she asked for a refund but we had to explain that we cannot refund a product that has physical damage to it. We explained to the customer we can offer her store credit that can go towards a different model mobile charging pack but she refused. We tried our best  to offer the customer different options to satisfy her the best way possible. We still would like to offer the customer store credit, we really do appreciate our customers business.
