Infinite Bridal Boutique Reviews (4)

I ordered 1 bridal gown and 3 bridesmaid's dresses, paid in full on 10/20/12. Wedding arrived 2 days before 8/24/13 wedding. No bridesmaids dresses. On 10/20/12, I purchased 1 bridal gown and 3 bridesmaid dresses from Infinite Bridal Boutique (IBB). Paid $1,039 in full. [redacted] (**), [redacted] of IBB, handled the sale and said she would put the order in Monday and let me know when dresses would be delivered. My witnesses and I recall me trying on a size 12, the same size I ordered. In November, 2012, ** called to say they were ordered and will be in around end of January. I called several times between March and June 2013 for status. In June 2013, ** indicated that vendor could not locate the dresses, but they are there at the warehouse. They just lost the box containing my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses. They are looking for the box. ** insists she DID order the dresses and they will be in before my wedding. I followed up weekly to see if issue had been resolved. ** said she told vendor that my wedding was at end of July, to put pressure on them to find them. On 7/2/13, ** said dresses had been found and that they were working to ship them in a few weeks. I told her I wanted a definitive due date by end of the week. No call back in meantime. On 7/16/13, I visited IBB. ** told me again she DID order dresses, but she is unable to produce paperwork documenting the order or delivery. I told her I need to know ASAP or I would have to go out to buy other dresses. My wedding is less than 6 weeks away. ** said that I should sue IBB at Dudley court, small claims court and she would pay my court fee. This way, when vendor ships dresses, she would have evidence that I did not want them so she could get her money back from vendor. She asked for more time to resolve situation, but did not call me back. I decided to buy dresses from [redacted]'s [redacted] as my back up plan since it would take time to receive and alter them. In an attempt to resolve this civilly, I called IBB on 7/22/13 and asked if she could contact her supplier in order to cancel order so she could give me my money back. Since vendor "lost the dresses" and they thought wedding was end of July and still can't provide a delivery date, I did not see any reason why they would not work with her. She said she would try that and get back to me. No call back. I visited and called weekly. On 8/14/13, ** said she spoke to her attorney. She asked me if I still wanted dresses, "if they were at her shop that day would I want them." My first thought is that she is trying to put the burden on me so she would not have to worry about her commitment to get the dresses before my wedding. She still claims the dresses will be in by my wedding day, but is not able to tell me when. My response was "perhaps". Considering my father saw a picture of my in that dress before he died last fall, I still considered wearing the dress from original purchase. When I asked her if she know when my wedding day was, she was not able to respond and said that she does not memorize her brides wedding dates. She said end of the month. I reminded her that wedding was 10 days away. She indicated that she did not attempt to cancel the order. On 8/22/13, I got a call from ** indicated that a package had arrived at her store and asked if I wanted her to get me in the dress for my wedding. I was working this day and did not get message until I got home around 6:30. I told her I would visit store on Friday to confirm receipt of dresses. I visited store on 8/23/13. ** produced a wedding gown, but I am 99% certain it is wrong size. When I said that, she immediately said it matched her notes. Considering I tried on the 12 at the store and it fit perfectly, I did not want to take possession of the size 14 the day before my wedding. Plus, when I asked about bridesmaids' dresses, she said she did not receive them. Despite saying they were a package deal, she was not able to fulfill complete order. She said she would return my money for bridesmaids' dresses after she resolved with vendor. I told her it was too late to take gown. I filed 93A demand letter 9/4/13.Desired SettlementIn my 93A demand letter asked for full refund of $1,039 for all 4 dresses, including the one she received 2 days prior to wedding. I believe she violated the MA Consumer Protection Act by failing to deliver dresses timely, as promised. I just filed 93A demand letter and will request up to treble damages for loss of property and court fees and take her to small claims court if she does not comply within 30 days.

closed before delivery of product[redacted] Gown #542Ordered on Feb. 28, 2014 Paid by checkDesired Settlementrefund of full payment $325

I had put down Money down on a wedding dress and then the shop closed without any notification. In February of 2014 I had agreed to a wedding dress in the shop. I had paid two hundred of the total towards it. I had tried coming to her shop in May to add more money, but the shop was always closed. I had tried calling multiple times to a number that was disconnected, I emailed with no response and wrote a letter with no response. I checked the Revdex.com website to find that the shop was no longer in business . I was never contacted to inform me her shop was closing or to see if I had wanted to pay for the rest of my dress and take it. With only a few months until my wedding, I had to go elsewhere to purchase another dress.Desired SettlementThe two hundred dollars I gave towards the dress, I still have the receipts for the payments.

I bought a wedding dress and the shop closed down and I do not have my dress or money.I bought a wedding a dress and paid in full, the shop closed and she moved.
