I paid [redacted] of Infinite Land Design for a property survey in June 2015, and have still not gotten all documents from him. In June 2015 I hired [redacted] of Infinite Land Design to survey a property in New Hill, NC. After performing the survey, but before receiving all final paperwork, including the property map, I paid the invoice in full by check in his office. At that time, we held off on getting the final property map as we thought I might subdivide the property. In September I contacted his office manager, [redacted], and explained I was not going to subdivide the property, and wanted my final property map, which had already been paid for. In the past seven weeks, I have been in contact with [redacted], both by phone and email multiple times trying to get this resolved to no avail. On September 28th [redacted] sent me an email promising me the finished map by September 30th, but this never materialized. I also contacted her several times after this but was told she would have to talk with the owner, [redacted] and see when he would have time to finish it. I did talk with [redacted] directly one time, and was told he was busy and would get to it when he could. At this point, all I want is my final paperwork and map for the property survey which was paid for almost 5 months ago. It's a shame it had to come to this, as I was overall very happy with the survey and [redacted].Desired SettlementFinish the job and give me my final paperwork and property map.Business Response As Mr. [redacted] stated in his complaint he had asked us to hold off completing the final plats as he had thought he may subdivide the parcel. It is important for clients to keep in mind that when we are asked to pause a project the remainder of the work has to be rescheduled based on when the client is ready to move forward for completion. When we are asked to continue a project at a later date our schedules for ongoing and current work do take priority in order for us to treat everyone fairly.Mr. [redacted]'s work was continued when he decided not to subdivide and was completed and delivered appropriately based on our schedules at that time.Consumer Response I finally received the remaining information from Infinite Land Design. While I agree that I asked the project to be put on hold, it is also important to realize I have several emails from their office manager where I was promised the finished paperwork several times months ago and that deadline was never met. In the future, they may benefit from a clearer line of communication with their clients.
