Worst car dealership experience ever
The Infiniti of Englewood dealership should be avoided by car buyers at ALL costs, and shut down by Infiniti! This was the worst buying experience (not just cars) that I have ever endured. DO NOT buy a vehicle from them under any circumstances. This scathing review is completely deserved and will be reposted. After trading in my vehicle to them and purchasing another one, they refused to send the payoff check to the bank for the vehicle that they accepted. I was stuck with two loans, one for a vehicle that I no longer had for months. If you look in other reviews, you’ll see that they did this to other people. They were completely and totally unresponsive to fixing the issue when I called, texted, and emailed, from the salesperson to the general manager Mike. I was forced to escalate through the president of Infiniti North America’s corporate head office to get them to act. Secondly, they stalled for 7 months in getting my car registered and plates sent to me, which they were contracted to do with the paperwork that I signed at the dealership. Often times they refused to answer the phone when you call the dealership. The person in charge of registering the vehicles, Patty, will not take your call and her voicemail is always full, and she will not call you back. I literally waited 7 months for plates for a vehicle, and had to use their temp tags. The dealership still did not act even when I escalated through Infiniti corporate, and lied by telling me that the plates were on their way to the dealership, when they weren’t. These are just some of the many reasons this dealership consistently receives terrible reviews. In addition, you will find lawsuits against this dealership as recently as last year, filed by Nissan against this dealership. See stories below:

Where do I begin. If your going to buy a vehicle at infiniti of englewood think again! This by far is the worst dealership in bergen county. Don't even think about trading in your car if it's not paid off. These people will take months before you car is paid off. Don't even think about leasing a car from these crooks! They will never make the last payment on your vehicle. All there used cars have not been paided off. They sell cars that have dirty titles. Trust me you will never get a return call. You will never get a refund check. Stay far far away from this one!

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:They stated that if was identity...

theft, but they don't have any copies of any IDs at all. Our young daughter told us that when she stopped by dealership to change oil sales person approached her and offered to terminate a lease for Infiniti FX and start a new lease for Infiniti JX. They even didn't ask any ID from her they just told her to sign all the documents as me. In reality you cannot get $50 cash from the bank teller without ID, but Infiniti of Englewood let take $50K car to a person without any ID.  Today we finally contacted their lawyer who represents the dealership. We were very surprised that he had wrong information about the case. Dealership told him that I'm late on payments and they want to pick up the car. My payments always on time and I have a prove. I clarified the case and he had to go back to request information about how the car was leased without me even present and signed by another person. Now dealership refused to give his lawyer any information related to our case. He is still waiting for their response. This proves that they are hiding the documents and don't want to release them, because we will find out the truth.
Regards,

Review: On December 17th, 2014 I went to Infinity of Englewood to see if they could secure an auto loan for me. I gave them a $100 deposit refundable if they could not secure a loan. On December 26, 2014 I was told they could not secure a loan and that my funds would be returned on December 29th, 2014. To date the funds have not been returned.Desired Settlement: I simply want the funds reversed on my credit card.

Review: I purchased a used vehicle from Infiniti of Englewood in June 2014. At the time of delivery, there was only one key (fob) with the car. The salesman said he would send me the second key the following week. He confirmed that he did have the second key, but never sent it to me. I have left numerous messages for someone to contact me regarding this issue. The sales man (Jack) no longer works there but no supervisor will return my call. The receptionist even told me during my last call that she had put my message in the supervisor's hand.Desired Settlement: I want the second key to the car I purchased or to be reimbursed for purchasing a second key if the dealership cannot deliver the key that is in its possession.

Review: I saw the car that I wanted online.The Internet Sales Mngr told me that he had the car in stock & would have it at the dealership for me @ 4pm when I arrived.When I arrived @ the dealership at 4pm,the car was nowhere to be found.A sales person and I then had to go searching for the car.The car should have been in a lot that Infiniti shares w/Nissan.We needed to stop @ the Nissan dealer to pick up keys in case WE needed to move the cars around to get to the car that I wanted.The sales person went inside the Nissan dealer & comes out with the entire pegboard of keys!The car wasn’t @ that location.We then tried to find the car by driving by the service dept. lot,a parking garage,& then a piano store parking lot.After driving around w/the sales person through 2 towns & going to 5 locations to find the car,it finally was found in a parking lot of a piano store!By the time the car was finally,it was already nighttime.The salesman drove me to an Exxon station so that I could see the car in “better” light!After negotiating,there were two items that Infiniti was going to fix…the scratched rim and the scratched bumper.I was told that I could pick up the car on a Mon.(I purchased it on a Wed.)The car wasn’t ready on Mon. & wouldn’t be ready to be picked up until Wed.Wed came & I asked the sales person at least 5 times over that week if the car was ready & he said yes. I told him to have the car at the dealership for 4PM.I arrived @ 4:30PM & not only was the car not there,but neither was the salesman.The salesman finally showed up w/the car 45 minutes after it was supposed to be there.What a surprise, the scratch was never touched up.I was told by the salesman that he had the touch up paint for me(for ME to touch up the scratch MYSELF)but that someone had stolen it.He then told me to go to another Infiniti dealer to buy the paint so I could touch up the scratch MYSELF & that he would cut me a check.Desired Settlement: I had to pay $400 for the scratched bumper to be fixed.

Review: On 4/25/15, I purchased a used vehicle and a Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) of QualityGuard+Plus in the amount of $2,395.00. On 5/14/15, I submitted a Retailer Cancellation Request Form at the Dealership to cancel this VSC. Michael Sheika, the finance manager at the Dealership who handled my application and cancellation of the VSC, informed me that it would take 6 to 8 weeks to process. On 7/24/15, I spoke to [redacted] inquiring about the status of my retail refund. He informed me that the 5/14/15 cancellation request had not processed and that he was going to re-submit my cancellation request on 7/24/15 which would then take a further 6 to 8 weeks to process. Since 7/24/15, I and my representatives have reached out to [redacted] more than 60 times in order for him and the Dealership to process this retail refund so that my lien holder can deduct the amount of $2,395.00 from the total amount of the lien which I owe. [redacted] has been completely uncooperative and has provided me with false information for over five months.

After pressure from Infiniti Consumer Affairs, [redacted] and the Dealership had made a submission of a VSC contract on October 5th, 2015. However, the VSC contract submitted was inaccurate and wrong as it contained a service contract I did not purchase, and a VIN# that did not match the vehicle I purchased.

As of today 11/2/15, [redacted] and Infiniti [redacted] have NOT submitted or cancelled the contracted QualityGuard+Plus policy, but accepted my payment of $2395.00 for the purchased policy constituting FRAUD.

I have spent an inordinate amount of time reaching out to [redacted] and the Dealership to urge them to fix the matter and to duly process the retail refund check. I strongly and respectfully request that you investigate the unprofessional business practices of [redacted], the General Manager of this Dealership, and the Dealership entity itself.Desired Settlement: (1) submit a cancellation of the incorrect VSC (submitted 10/5/15) which is attached to my name;

(2) submit the proper QualityGuard+Plus VSC purchased on 4/25/15;

(3) submit a proper cancellation of the QualityGuard+Plus VSC which I submitted on 5/14/15; and

(4) refund my lien holder the total amount which I am entitled of $2,395.00.

Review: I bought a car from Infiniti of Englewood on October of 2012 with an extended warranty from Fidelity Warranty Services for $2339. The terms of the warranty clearly stated that I can cancel at anytime and get a pro-rata refund minus their administrative funds. On April 29, I handed Craig [redacted] all of the required documents and he told me that it would take 30- 60 days to get a refund. We are now in August and whenever I call he either does not answer or he will give me the run around; I have been extremely patient but I do not feel as if they are working to fix the situation.

I contacted Fidelity Warranty Services and when I gave them my VIN they told me that they have no record of me ever having any warranty with them. The last time I called M. [redacted], the secretary told me that he was not there but as soon as I started telling the secretary about the problem he picked up and told me to wait. I do not feel like he is being honest with me and I need your help to get my money back.Desired Settlement: As per my conversation with [redacted], the refund will be sent to the bank ([redacted]) where my car is financed.

Review: 1- in May 2014, I visited Infiniti of Englewood, NJ, I made an agreement with sales associate named [redacted] she pushed me lease the standard version which is the Q50, but I told her I specifically wanted lease the Q50S. Then I called the following day to reach [redacted] I left her a message they delivered the wrong car, I also left a message with the front desk stated. The front desk receptionist said [redacted] will return my call back. [redacted] never returned any of my calls. Two days later I drove to the dealership, I finally met her, she said to me that it's too late for me to return the car. Not only did they deliver the wrong vehicle, the vehicle I received had a dented hood.

2/ went to pick of vehicle, the vehicle wasn't ready, after they said it was ready to be picked up.

3/ I waited a month to get the car hood service, so my entire first month of leasing a brand new vehicle I could not drive yet because it was at service.

4/ the down payment includes first car payment, Infiniti finance stated they never received first payment therefore that payment was late and affected my credit.

5/ I had an oil change few months later the service men scratched and dented my rims. I ended up having a flat tire.

6/ months later I had another oil change, as soon as I left I had another flat tire and a bubble on the opposite tire.

7/ the following oil change, they didn't put oil cap back on, I told them I had a 5 hour drive ahead so I wanted to ensure the vehicle was in good condition, 4 hours into my trip I noticed smoke coming out of my hood and a burning smell, the oil splattered all over the engine. I also had bubble in my tire then had a flat.

7/incident at dealership/ reported by police. The valet man tried to stop a vehicle from rolling out of the service garage, the valet man had his body leaning half way into the car turning the wheel in my girlfriends direction (which she was standing in designated waiting area), luckily she turned around to notice the car almost running her over, she had to jump quickly out the way, leaving her left leg in a lot of pain, pulled her sciatic nerve.

8/ yesterday I drove to the service department to have maintenance, I had to set up an appointment for another day after I left the dealership I ended up with a flat.

In conclusion, I've by far had the worst dealership / service experience. I have never had issues with any company in my life. By coincidentally 4:5 times I get a flat tire every time I leave the dealership. I am extremely disappointed with infiniti of englewood, they are running a mal practice, they scam, pray on customers so they can make a quick $500 - $1000 and not take ownership of their business.

I want to stop this poor business practice before it effects anyone else. Infiniti of englewood need to be investigated.Desired Settlement: I would like to this company to be investigated and would like to prevent this situation to not happen to anyone else.

Review: Bought used car, agreed on price, when signing contract was told that a 1500.00 dealer prep was mandatory and required by law , before car leaves. I refused to sign, sales lady spoke to manager he reduced it to 900.00 I agreed to it. The dealer prep was supposed to be for a 100 point inspection of the car, and they would fix anything that was wrong so we said ok. While driving it home on the highway I noticed the breaks were pulsating and rumbling. I

called right away from my car they. Spoke to [redacted] manager, he said it could be rust and if not they would fix it. He said drive it over weekend, I said ok. When I got home I checked the oil .It was a quart low. Noticed on my drive way an oil stain. Looked under car oil drip. When to lock doors with remote , it did not work, could not lock doors. Infinity of Englewood charged us 900.00 dollars for a 100 point inspection which was not done. No mention of the breaks,oil leak or locking issues by them before we left. One other thing while signing, they charged us 349.00 dollars clerical fee on one contract. When we were finilizing everthing that figure changed to 549.00. My wife caught it and they changed it back to 349.00. The following day I read about Bait and Switch practices by car dealerships. We need to stop these people, please help. ThanksDesired Settlement: I want my 900.00 dollars back and all of the issues fixed on the car.

Review: I live in Wayne, NJ. Two weeks ago I got document from Infiniti Financial. This document stated that my 22 y.o. daughter who lives in Las Vegas, NV visited Infiniti of Englewood, NJ on May, 2013 and introduced herself as me, she forged my signature on a lease documents and got a brand new car Infiniti JX 35 which cost around $50,000. The reason why Infiniti Financial contacted me was unpaid $250 deductible for the repair after auto accident in Las Vegas. Then I learned that I'm legally and financially responsible for the car I never leased or seen.As soon as I got documents from Infiniti Financial my husband and I immediately visited the dealership in Englewood, NJ.We had an appointment on Saturday, Jan, 31 with [redacted] (sales manager) email: [redacted].We provided him all the documents we had about this case. We asked him how it could happened that our daughter who is a young student was able to sign a lease agreement, pass verification and financial check, and get brand new $50,000 luxury car and leave dealership.He couldn't explain how this weird situation happened but he promised us to find out and let us know.We never heard from him again. Every day during the week we called to dealership but he never picks up the phone and his mailbox is full so we can't leave a message for him. Secretary at the dealership accurately takes our messages and promise that he will contact us Nobody contacted us from dealership about our matter. Now I'm almost financially broken because they expect payments from me for the car (around $700 a month).We do understand that they ignore the fact that young student cannot afford $50,000 car and this obvious fact should raise a RED FLAG during a car negotiation. However, they do care only about their profit. Thus, they do understand that they did an illegal transaction and now they refuse to provide the information about it to us.Desired Settlement: 1. I request to provide me explanation and copies of documents how Infiniti leased $50,000 car to 22 y.o. girl without credit history and income signed on my name. 2. I insist Infiniti to take this car from me without any damage to my credit history or penalties.3. Compensate all my expenses related to this car lease payments, $250 repair deductible and transit fee I was forced to pay to keep my credit history in good shape.

My Lawyer information,

Review: Infiniti of Englewood was suppose to issue me a refund in the amount of $820.00 for 2 months of lease payments that they were suppose to cover. However, they did not pay the lease payments to Infiniti Financial Services (IFS) and because the no payment was made on the lease, IFS reported the deliquent payments to the credit reporting agency. [redacted], from Infiniti of Englewood was suppose to resolve this issue by issuing me a check for $820.00 and also notify IFS of the error of non payment by Infiniti of Englewood. I and [redacted] M., my administrator helping me have notified [redacted] since May 2013 and this has not be resolved. [redacted] the Manager of the dealership was also emailed with no response. [redacted] M. also contact [redacted] at Infinit Consumer Affairs in July 2013 about the issue and he intervened, but no resolution after I was told this would be resolved by 8/1/13 . His # is ###-###-#### and the their reference # is [redacted] I am waiting for a refund of $820.00 and a letter confirming Infiniti of Englewood did not make the car payments in error and reported their mistake to Infiniti Financial Services ###-###-#### so they can contact the credit reporting agencies that this was their mistake.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for $820.00 and also a copy of the letter from Infiniti of Englewood confirming Infiniti of Englewood did not make the car payments in error and reported their mistake to Infiniti Financial Services, and an acknowledgement that that Infiniti Financial Services got the letter and are making the corrections on their end.

Review: I purchased a yukon denali from Infiniti of Englewood on Oct 22, 2014. I purched the truck with them fixing the heated steering wheel, and the back window that was broken. They took away the credit they were going to grant me to fix the parts on the truck because they were going to fix it. I was also given a temp tag of only 20 days. Today is now February 27, 2015 , and I still do not have my tags for my truck. I also have not had any of the repairs for my truck completed also. I have called and left messages for everyone that I can. I have not been reissued a new temp tag for my truck since the first one that was given to me on Oct 22, 2014. As I said before that tag was only good for 20 days. This means I have made 4 payments on a truck that I cant even drive. So the things they said they would fix have not been fixed yet and I have a truck I cant drive due to no tags at all. I have tried contacted [redacted] General Sales Manager and his voice mail is always full. I have left messages for [redacted] Sales Manager, and have not got a call back yet.Desired Settlement: For heated steering wheel, and new back window-This was signed and agreed on in the sales agreement

My truck to be tagged-With the same tagged that was on my Benz-[redacted] was the tag number

For my time wasted calling in and following up-Also for the past 4 months where I have not been able to drive my truck because of temp tag running out

Review: I recently bought a 2010 [redacted] zdx with approx 37k miles on it, used car from infiniti of engelwood NJ., because of location and affluence in the area. Its prominence as a high end infiniti dealership, I expected nothing but quality from them BOY WAS I WRONG. Let me say the salesman I bought from was great and easy to work with. we came to a deal and figures I was comfortable with and I made a deposit for pickup. The car was supposed to be prepped and checked for safety upon my pickup and completing dealer financing. this is where you should stay away from this dealership. When cpmming to a deal they wanted to charge 1k for a prep fee. I said I never herd of this and they quickly backed away on that if I agree to use deler financing, which was ok with me. The first issue, I was told I was approved with financing wanted ot have all my numbers in order when I picked up the car. Called multiple times left messages to get my finance rate they completely ignored me. Finally the answer was you have to wait to talk with the finance manager to get your interest rate. That was absurd and should have alarmed the bells. If your apporved for credit they tell you and know your rate!!! Upon going to the dealership to pickup the car, I asked the finance manager what the original warranty from the manufacturers began (in service date). I was given a date June 2009 and told I should seriously consider an after market warranty sold b infiniti. I later found out the [redacted] manufacturers powertrain warranty on the car was actually in service date of march 27 2010 giving me an additional nine months of warranty. This either "error" or lie got me to buy an extendeded warranty after much pressure from the finance manager for 2400 dollars. I later cancelled after learning that I was mistold information. Stay away from their financing as its a trap to sell you products they make more money on. This was very deceitful and horrible experience. The car when I originally inspected hadn't been cleaned, which I was told would be prepped and a safety check done (this is where you should never go to this dealership). Note I was told the car was in excellent shape when asking about any damage, car facts had zero accidents etc. inspected the car and due to lighting didn't notice what later would truly dissapoint me. When I got home I noticed a dent golf ball size on the door line with paint wear, a dent on the hood on the front contour, a dent on the front fender, badly worn breaks, bad tires cracked and worn, and no fluid changes or oil change. I noticed this all within an hr and called the salesmen who said he would have his sales look into it and sent pictures etc and they didn't deny any of this said they would see what they could do. This all indicated a an inspection never took place, safety specifically and never prepped properly for sale. I would never expect to have a car from infiniti in engelwood nj, (that cares about their reputation), to be sold in this condition and such a safety issue I could have been in an accident!!!!! God forbid I could have been killed driving a car in this condition and they did no safety check. This is unbelievable and why you should never buy from there!!!!!!!! I returned the Monday, next business day and was ushered to service. The finance manager in sales admitted no saftey check had been done and they would see what they could do on the issues and dents etc.I went to service where they admitted no safety check had been done also. This is red flag and horiible!!!! They did a saftey check and found breaks faulty, imagine sending a car on the road in this condition!!! I told them about the dents and tire issues and they sent me home saying they would look into it. Finally after many calls two days later I was told they would replace front and back breaks, which should have been done before delivery but that's all they would do. I had to wait four hours and travel back to the service department which wasn't a picnic. I tried calling the general manger Jeff, multiple multiple times and leaving messages with secretary telling service to have him contatct me no response. So now my recourse for this HORRIBLE customer service is to write a truthful review and warn people not to go to this dealership!!!! THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT CLAIMED THE TIRES HAD 8/32 TREAD, but when I had them independently tested they said they need be replaced by two Michelin dealers and there pretty much shot and shouldn't have been sold that way and 5/32 was the tread. For the dents and damages on the car that weren't disclosed originally, they (sales) will not respond as I tried contacting them on working with them for a solution. Just getting the cold shoulder. No repsonse to email etc. I have tried for almost two weeks contacting the general manger Jeff Liebler and he just ignores my messages. DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE and Their REPUTATION to me is the worst I ever dealt with. Incompetant management!!! In conclusion this is horrible to receive a car in this safety problems and put on the road, let alone an infiniti dealership sell a car with out disclosing or fixing damages to the body. Don't shop at this dealership plain and simple as I will now be seeking legal remedy because they don't wanna have the courtesy to as much call me back. Horrible business practice!!! Horrible experience. My safety at risk and they could care less!!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like a phone call back to discuss these issues and I want the issues repaired
