I took my mother's car in for service, replacement of a part It was an afterthought to look at the invoice (who really looks at it other than the total, to pay the bill at the time) as I filed it away with the other car repair records To my shock, a re-manufactured part was installed, not a new unit as promised In the body of the invoice it stated a new unit was installed but the line item for the part stated re-manufactured I telephoned the service consultant who was "unaware" of my situation He informed me that there were no new units available (a statement contradicted by Infiniti USA) As he could not offer any remedy to me, I spoke with the service manager He told me straight up, that the dealership sells re-manufactured parts to their customers, AS NEW, all the time without informing them I was shocked and quite dismayed over their complete disregard for their customers The dealership's apparent lying and deceitful practices concerned me so much that I contacted Infiniti USA to complain It appears that Infiniti USA condones this type of activity as they offered no restitution nor solution of any kind I absolutely would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone, Including people I dislike, for anything! Be afraid, be very afraid!
