Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The highly unprofessional response of this Realty Company speaks volumes as to the low ebb thinking and attitude. To call someone a lier and uncredible is not professional nor does it speak to any licensed company handling a matter with grace and dignity. I never made a statement that the company has other complaints with the Revdex.com I clearly stated it was on their Facebook page. Also this is proof that they are simply twisting things to make it confusing and to blame me for there bad business practices. Using such language as “why did he run off to the Revdex.com” is a very immature statement to make. I CLEARLY made many, many, many attempts to communicate with the Realtor that represents this company to no avail. This realty company is standing behind a cover up, it is clear the basement has mold and has a history of mold. The house was rented by Brenda according to her own confession each time. She was clearly aware of the issues with the home and why it was vacated. She was clearly aware from day one the owner required the tenant to pay a realtor fee and she clearly represented to me that I DID NOT have to pay a realtor fee and then she waited until I moved into the home and then requested payment for a realtor fee. The realty company call people liers but according to the reviews that were posted on their facebook page other people have complained of lousy service or non service from this company. I have better things to do with my time than rent places and move for no reason. The pool company had no reason to lie about the house having a history of mold as they serviced the pool to all of the revolving tenants. It is only ethical, honest and professional for my realtor fee to be refunded as it was ascertained in a very deceptive and agrressive manner. If this company cared to satisfy its’ customers it would have handled this compliant with professionalism and courtesy and not disparaging comments and attacking a person and their integrity. I WILL NOT accept their response, I continue to request a refund to be satisfied with this matter.

[Your Answer Here]
None of the statements made from this realty company is true and the landlord and Brenda A[redacted] are friends and clearly knew the issues with the home and rented it without disclosure of mold. It does not surprise me that this company would make the statements made as they are engaging in a cover up. This matter is not resolved to my satisfaction until I receive a refund. This company has previous complaints listed on its facebook page for being very unprofessional.

The business has responded.  Please see below:I am in receipt of the complaint from [redacted]. Before I address his issues I would like it known that at no time did [redacted] reach out to me, the owner of the company. The first I learned of any dissatisfaction was when I received...

the letter from the Revdex.com. [redacted] alleges the following: 1. My agent, Brenda A[redacted] was aware that there were mold issues and did not disclose them. 2. That Brenda was aware that the windows in the house were not properly functional. 3. That he was forced to pay an additional $2,100 for the realtor fee. 4. That Brenda is highly unprofessional. I will address these in order. 1. Brenda A[redacted] and Realty Executives have no evidence and have never had evidence of any mold in this house, nor has [redacted] offered any. In fact, [redacted] signed his lease on May **, 20**. That lease included (in paragraph 26) the following wording: "Condition of Property. Tenant stipulates, represents and warrants that tenant has examined the property and that they are at the time of this agreement in good order, repair, and in a safe, clean, and tenantable condition. Tenant has been provided the opportunity to have the property inspected for mold and or waves the opportunity to have the property inspected for same.” 2. Paragraph 26 also addresses the issue of the windows. 3. Contrary to [redacted]'s assertion that he was forced to pay an extra $2,100 for the realtor fee, in fact, [redacted] paid $1,050. The landlord paid the other $1,050. (I have copies of both checks). It is customary in our marketplace that the landlord and the tenant each pay half the realtor fee. 4. [redacted]'s claim that Brenda is highly unprofessional is inaccurate and unfounded. I have worked with Brenda for more than three years and have found her work to be exemplary. Until [redacted]'s complaint, I have never had a client speak a bad word about Brenda. The facts are these: 1. [redacted] has offered no proof of the existence of mold being present prior to his occupying the house. 2. Brenda A[redacted] and Realty Executives did not conceal anything from [redacted], nor has [redacted] offered proof that anything was concealed from him. In fact, we presented to him, and he signed, the disclosures (Sprinkler, Lead Paint, Agency) that we are, by law, required to provide. 3. [redacted] signed the lease that had been provided by the landlord. Included in that at least was a provision that attests that he was satisfied with the condition of the house and that he was entitled to test for mold. These facts clearly show that [redacted]’s complaint against Brenda A[redacted] and Realty Executives is without merit. I’d like to address [redacted]’s final point. [redacted] writes that it "is common knowledge around town that tenants have moved out of this house before for mold issues… Even the pool company told me recently that no one stays in this house long as it has major mold issues in the basement". Rentals, especially of houses, are typically short term. A temporary job assignment, a relocation where the transferee wants to learn about the area prior to buying, a future buyer repairing credit before being able to get a mortgage are some of the reasons people rent houses for relatively short periods. The tenants previous to [redacted] did vacate the property after only three months (2/**-5/**) but it was not because of mold. They were a couple that broke up not long after moving in. One party moved out, the second party could not afford the house, and the landlord agreed to let them out of their obligation. The previous tenant to them lived in the house for a year, as did the tenant prior to them. No one raised the issue of mold with us. We will not be issuing any refund to [redacted].
