I received a phone call from Robert [redacted] at Infinity Development Inc 866- [redacted] ext [redacted] informing me that he we working with a buyer in Mexico that wants to buy all the units from the [redacted] Palace now called ***They offered me $24,to buy the timeshareThey emailed a purchase offer that stated all I had to do was to pay$for a tax ID number/permit from Mexico to sell the propertyThat was on June 28, I then looked up on the internet about this company as well as [redacted] Solutions(the company holding my money in escrow) [redacted] and it seemed legitSo, I sent the money through a wire transfer to [redacted] Solutionsthen when I close the deal, they would give us back that money and the $24,less the 8% commissionWell, on August 2,I received a call from Robert stating that Mexico requires us to pay taxes on this property and that we would have to pay them $in order for the deal to be completed and again they would hold this money in escrow for us and will get it back when we close the deal which is supposed to be on August12,2016(according to the signed documentation that we have)When we told him that we did not have that money, he told us that he would give us days to think about it and then he would get back to us, but if we can't give him the money, then the deal is offI asked him if there was any way that we could get back the $back because we can't give him any more money and we were told in the beginning that all the taxes would be paid by the buyerHe said it was too late because it was already past working days from when we sent that money and it's non refundableAt that point, we decided to contact the Mayan Palace/ [redacted] at 1-800- [redacted] which I spoke to Jamie in the customer service department who told me that it was a SCAM because we already paid the taxes in Mexico when we purchased the timeshare and that the contract states a right of use not a deed property and that she was receiving many phone calls from people all over the US and Canada that were telling her the same storyThen I asked her how Infinity Development got our name and phone numberShe stated that the [redacted] Palace/ [redacted] is doing an investigation in how the names and phone number of all the owners were given to Infinity DevelopmentAll my husband and I are asking is either can we get back our money that we paid out($2750.00)and/or the amount of the purchase agreement that we signed in the amount of $24,less the 8% that we had agreed upon

Total scam! Do NOT do any business with Infinity Development, Incor [redacted] Solutions, LLCWhile their website and forms may seem legitimate, their practices are notIt's illegal to place a value on property that has ZERO valueDon't get scammed by these companies, or any others that may try to entice you into believing your timeshare is worth anything
