Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I read Mr***'s response to my complaint with interest After much consideration I am certain that this business fundamentally does not understand the basics of customer service nor the proper approach to resolving customer complaints The facts as Mr*** points out in his response are valid and accurate and I do not dispute them However, he seems to miss (as did his employees on the day in question) the fundamental concern, which is that we paid money for a service and then were unable to utilize this service due to restrictive rules put in place by the business The money is not the issue; I am no longer seeking a refund They are welcome to keep my $ However, what they give up is trust and repeat business; the passes they gave me in return are meaningless to me as I do not trust this business They would have made the money back many times from my family alone had I felt respected The replies by them (on the day in question as well to my complaint here and on Yelp) show that they lack a fundamental understanding of the basics of customer interaction And, based on reading the Yelp reviews, this has been a serial issue for this business. They seem surprised that I followed through and actually posted a complaint on the forums, as I in good faith openly told them I would I have already received several concerned private messages on Yelp stating that those consumers choose not to patronize Inflatable World This is good; I have achieved my goal of shining a light on a predatory and anti-customer business.Mr*** runs a concession which from the outside seems aimed at supplying a fun, active time for children, and this is why I originally chose to take my daughter there But he and his employees have negated that fun image by charging high prices and then failing to follow through on the customer service and mutual respect such prices require I'm sure he makes a comfortable living from this business, but this is not truly what it is about in this world

My wife was injured at the inflatable world site in Mission valley at the Westfield Mall. She was watching our granddaughter on one of the jumpers and tripped on a piece of carpeting that was not properly taped down or secured. She was severly bruised with a deep contusion and had to be taken to the hospital for X-rays and MRI and was unable to move except on crutches for several weeks. The young workers who were on duty refused to fill out an accident report, and said they did not have one on site. We had to ask several times before they would give us Kevin Fonseca's name their manager, who was not present and so far has not returned our calls. The owner's name a mr. "Arthur" was finally given to our attorney by one individual in the Mall office who leases the space to inflatable world; however the were very reluctant to give out any names and no one from inflatable world has called. My wife had to totally rearrange her committments andDuties due to her severe pain, and we have had numerous medical bills. Where aretheir headquarters and I see others have had problems and complaints. Please advise your suggestions and possible course of action. These people are very evasive and avoid our calls. Please advise.. Thank you... AA Wietzel 512-461-3463 of La Mesa CA...

Review: I took my wife and daughter to Inflatable World. They charge an exorbitant price for the child to enter, as is I suppose their choice. They then did not allow parents to enter the slide features to assist the child without paying an entrance e fee; another 20 dollars (not to mention that they restrict height and weight, which was not made clear up front) and therefor I was unable to go onto the rides with my daughter.

They then kicked my wife out of the age appropriate amusements for my daughter, citing her height. When I requested a refund it was refused. We had been there less than 20 minutes and had purchased a service which, due to that services contradictory and non-customer service focussed rules, we could not utilize.

I informed them that I would be forced to submit a negative review on Yelp (which I did; the page is littered with similar reviews citing poor customer service, aggressive and predatory no-refund policies, and failure to protect children from the potential injuries these amusements could cause), to which they promptly responded, on a public forum, in a manner both snide and unprofessional.

This business relies on predatory and misleading business practices which force consumers to spend money on goods and services which they cannot utilize and then fail to refund mo ey when these goods are not used. They create an anti-customer environment which builds no trust and is not in keeping with how I see most SD businesses conduct themselves.Desired Settlement: I don't even want my money back; rather I would like to see this business comport itself with pride and professionalism. They should realize that repeat business is built on trust, loyalty, fair prices, and willingness to work with customers towards a mutually agreeable outcome. Based o. The fact that I am not the only consumer with this issue, this likely represents a negative trend for this business.

Hello, My name is [redacted] Vice President of Inflatable World. I'm contacting you in response to the complaint against Inflatable World. Our business doesn't do anything illegal as we work in a professional manner and in certain cases we are in a position where we receive patrons that want to break our rules to suit them better and we cannot operate that way. In this case, the child was of age (toddler 2-3years) and paid for her wristband to get on the inflatables -not all toddlers are willing to play as some get scared or perhaps are not having a good day so in this case the parent purchased a adult wristband to participate as well. This didn't help the situation because the toddler was interested in the inflatables - our policy is no refunds/no exceptions. They were given to complimentary passes to come back any day during this years season (until September 28th) or even next season when daughter was older but they were not happy at all. They threaten to use yelp and Revdex.com if they didn't receive there money back. We cannot bend our rules with people's threats because our business didn't do anything illegal. We open business for tens of thousands of families a year so this is not in any way or manner what this gentlemen is describing. Feel free to contact me by phone:[redacted].
