Review: ING has failed repeated requests in written form with all required signatures, forms, tax forms, letters of acceptance to rollover my ING Annunity account into my [redacted] IRA account. Multiple phone calls and repeatedly completing and submitting the same forms 3 times since Oct. 2012 through March 2013 has not resulted in compliance. Verifying the address and FAX information with ING and sending in both methods has not resulted in acknowledgment. [redacted] has sent in letters with my signature,on forms with all required information without ING compliance to requests.

ING has responded and completed the transaction requested due to the filing of the complaint.

Review: Requested a residential 401k loan, ING would not process and now I have to request a general loan with shorter repayment timeframe

I requested a residential 401K loan to use as a down payment for the purchase of my house. It took 5 days to receive a promissary note that had to be mailed along with proof of sale for the house. I mailed the documents on a Monday which were delivered on Wednesday. Today, over a week later, I received an email saying the request could not be processed. When I called customer service I was advised that I would need to submit an amendment showing a future closing date because the closing date on the current contract had already passed. Because this loan process has taken so long, I used my own money to pay for the down payment and closed on the house. Now I am unable to do a residential loan and must do a general loan which only allows a 5 year repayment time frame instead of 10.

The reason I asked for a residential loan was so that I could have lower monthly payments and a longer repayment timeframe. No where in any documentation or on the ING website does it state that a closing date must be in the future. And, had I been able to receive the promissary note electronically via email and had the option to fax or scan the documents instead of mail them, ING would have received them in time before my closing (I did not want to push back the closing because of the possibility of having higher closing costs and a higher interest rate). Instead, the entire process took over 2 weeks having to wait for a promissary note in the mail, mail the documents back, then wait over a week for a response. I needed the money as soon as possible and now I have to wait even longer.

This whole process is completely ridiculous, especially considering it is my money that I am requesting and shouldn't even be considered a "loan."Desired Settlement: I feel that ING should process my request as a residential loan for all this unnecessary aggravation I have gone through. They also need to fully disclose all requirements for residential loans on their website and the requirements should be included when people receive their promissary note. ING should also speed up the process by sending documents electronically and letting people fax or scan documents rather than mailing them.
