I received a phone call from *** *** aka *** *** on Monday, September 8, that the roof was
leaking
and that the toilet had backed upI told her I would send someone over
and then asked her when she was coming in to pay the rent that was past
due. *** mentioned the toilet had backed up last month but she
acted like it was no big deal and she had gotten it all taken care of. She also mentioned the roof had a small leak
and we knew this was something that was going to need attention in the very
near future. I immediately got someone
out Monday morning to pump the septic tank.
I am getting estimates now to repair or replace the roof.
As of today, September 9, 2014, *** is months behind on her rent.
Everything was fine with
*** until recently when she applied
to rent at North Point Apartments gave our names as a referral.
Sara was honest with the person who called from Point North
Apartments. Sara told her that *** had
been a good tenant even though *** had had some financial issues and that we
had been working with her in getting caught up with rent. Sara did tell them *** was months
behind on rent and has been late times in less than years when asked
specifically if *** owed us money for rent and how many times she had been
late paying rent. Sara did stress that *** had been a good tenant and we would hate to lose her. We have not had any cross words with *** up until this point. I believe she is
bitter over the referral we gave Point North.
