I sold Mrs*** *** a Infiniti G35, speed,
sedan on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. During
the transaction I offered Mrs*** a day, power train (engine and
transmission) warranty, where the dealership would cover 50% of any parts and
50% of any labor, where all work must be
completed by a repair facility with
whom dealer regularly does business. I went
into great detail in explaining to Mrs*** that the warranty was only a
“limited warranty” valid for a duration of days or 1,miles from the
effective date of purchase and the warranty would set to expire / terminate at
end of business day on May 14, 2015. It
was very clearly explained to Mrs*** that any and all problem that would
arise in relation to engine and transmission after this date would be the sole
responsibility of Mrs***. The
dealership would not be able to assist with any monetary repairs to the
vehicle. Mrs*** agreed to this
warranty and obliged
Furthermore, Mrs*** was given the chance to have the
vehicle inspected at her expense by an independent third party. Mrs*** did not exercise this offer and
accepted the vehicle in its current condition
On Friday, May 29, (outside of the warranty period) I
received a phone call from Mrs*** stating the engine was making a “strange
sound.” She mentioned SHE had poured
quarts of oil into the engine. Upon
further investigation she had learned that Infiniti had a problem with their
models, particularly the G35, manual transmission consuming oil. As a consumer, Mrs*** had a
responsibility to investigate any known problems / defects with this particular
manufacture prior to purchase. I
informed her that I was not aware of any issues with that brand having the “consuming
oil” problem. At which point she
threatened me with a lawsuit if I did not replace her entire engine. I explained to Mrs*** that threats would
not be tolerated and asked her please refrain from such demeanor. Mrs*** continued with her threats at
which point I had no choice but to terminate the phone conversation.
Mrs*** was an able body, of legal age and did fully
understand each document that was presented and signed by her. As per the legal binding contract entered by
Mrs*** and Miramar MotorSports, Incon the purchase date of Tuesday, April
14, the dealership has fulfilled its obligation of a day, 1,mile limited
power train warranty

We have corrected the erroneous mistake caused by the DMV department in regards to the incorrect address and have completed the 2016 renewal registration for Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle.  We have contacted him on Monday, 07/27 informing him of this resolution and have provided a USPS tracking number...

so he make track the letter containing his DMV renewal.Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further questions or concerns in regards to this matter.Thank you.

Pls inform Mr. [redacted] that this particular vehicle has already sold and he should refer to our current online listing for our most up-to-date inventory list.  Thank you,[redacted]
