On Friday, June 6, customer called at 6:pm and said her car has been overheating all dayShe stated she drove approximately miles to *** and then another miles before she called usOur service writer advised customer to pull over in a safe location and to NOT DRIVE vehicle any furtherWe would send a tow truck at no charge to pick it upOur employee NEVER said to turn heat on and keep drivingCustomer continued to drive vehicle until it was out of oil and smokingOur employee called customer to get the location of vehicle to send tow truckWe towed vehicle to our shop at no charge
On Saturday, June 7, our inspection showed that there wasn't any coolant left in vehicle due to driving while overheating and had a very strong smell of antifreeze
On Monday, June 9, we pressure tested system and found no external leaks from water pump and belt was fineThey were in perfect operational conditionOur further inspection of vehicle found cylinder head gasket leaking internally from over heatingI advised customer of her options with the poor condition of vehicleShe then became abusive, swearing and disrespectful and blaming me for her troublesI agreed to tow her vehicle to another shop of her choice for free
We don't believe customer is entitled to a reimbursement, as our work was necessary and was performed correctlyWe tried to the best of our ability to work with this customerDue to her unreasonable requests and her disrespectful attitude towards my employees and the tow truck driver, we decided it would be in the best interest of both parties if we didn't perform any further work on this vehicleWe therefore, towed it, at no charge, to the shop of her choice
We are not responsible for compensating this customer for a new car or for rental car reimbursement, as the damage to the vehicle was due to the customer continuing to drive her vehicle while overheating even after our employee told her NOT to drive it any furtherWe are not responsible for this customers own actions

I spoke directly with the owner of Ingleside Auto, *** *** who told me that when my truck was in the first time they could smell the antifreeze so bad but thought replacing the water pump and serpentine belt would be sufficient
I've spoken with several mechanics who stated just hearing about the ailments of my truck they could tell it was misdiagnosedThe shop that currently has my truck even said that Ingleside Auto 100% misdiagnosed the problemNow I'm being told to be cost efficient my best bet is to find an engine on my own and bring it to the shop and they will just charge me laborThe mechanic said to try ebay I could find an engine anywhere from $500-$and then his charge for labor is $
