Hello, I am Kim ***, owner of Ink House Tattoos I'm responding to the letter I received about a consumer complaint filed against my business by ***. I spoke to *** about his issue he complained to me that he requested his deposit back from my artist Yoki and was denied. I apologized to him but explained that there was nothing I could do, Yoki is an independent contractor who condones business the way she chooses and he booked this appointment solely through her, with her. I also explained that Yoki has her own contract/deposit form that was emailed to him upon setting the appointment (see attached) and that also appears on her Instagram page he found her on. This form clearly states that her deposits are non-refundable. His only option was to reschedule the appointment and was offered the opportunity to do so. This offer still stands as soon as the business re opens when covid-19 allows.
I hope we can get this issue resolved.
