Inkwell is a misleading company. The owner, [redacted], is quick to take your money to get a book published. They require money up front to print your book and make many promises to support you with marketing, book promotions, and sales. Truth is, they don't do what the agree to in their contracts with authors. They require you to give them $2,000 and buy a couple hundred books in addition. They pressure you to hold a book loll launch party to get your friends to buy your book. They do not support their authors. They do not pay their authors as agreed to by the contract. I have gone 2 years without receiving any royalties. Most authors never come back due to lack of support. Most authors never get their money back either. Their accounting is horrible, and [redacted] gets very defensive when you ask for royalties. [redacted] acts like he is helping others, but he is really helping himself.
