Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Rebuttal to her response: The idea of us contacting her on the day of the wedding is comical at best.? As a vendor that works in the bridal industry, I would think she would have a clear understanding of how difficult it would be to contact her the day of the ceremony to try and “make it right.”? ? The timing of a wedding ceremony is critical, everyone is trying to work together to make a singular moment proceed as smoothly as possible for the couple.? The other vendors that we worked with seemed to understand this concept She did have the contract with the bridal couple, but had no trouble contacting me when payment was due in full on April 2, 2016.? She was promptly paid in advance as requested 1)? ? ? ? ? Please see attached photo of the rose bud that was used to create one of the two usher boutonnieres.? It does not have the “minimum inch stem.”? The stem has been clearly cut much shorter which made it impossible to attach to the boys’ shirts.? We tried to salvage them by trying to attach them with safety pins, but that didn’t work either, since there wasn’t enough of a stem with which to work.? 2)? ? ? ? ? In regards to the Maid of Honor bouquet, we did request daisies.? It was omitted from the contract 3)? ? ? ? ? Also attached are two photos of gardenia corsages.? One of the gardenia corsage photos was taken directly after the wedding ceremony.? It is obvious that the gardenia is wilting and looking pathetic.? They were promptly removed since it would be an embarrassment to continue wearing them.? The other is a cropped photo of a gardenia corsage that my father had bought for Easter.? He would deliver them to us on Saturday, the day before we were to wear them.? This gardenia looks fresh even the next day after being worn throughout the morning and lasting through an Easter service.? We would were them all day and again the following day.? There is quite a discrepancy between the two corsages? ? Please note the photo was cropped to avoid including personal identifying images as requested by Revdex.com? I find it unsettling that the florist felt the need to include an image of the wedding couple in her response.? I realize this is a photo of them having a good time but I don’t think it was because they were pleased with the floral arrangements.? It is interesting to note that if the florist had zoomed on the bridal bouquet she would see that it is droopy and petals are missing? I was having trouble including a cropped photo which shows parts of the bouquet on the floor around the wedding couple that fell during the wedding ceremony.? However, if the photos do not become part of the public domain, I can provide them.? In addition, I am wondering if she paid any royalties to the professional photographer for the use of this photo.? I also find it interesting that she had photos available for the majority of the floral order to accompany her response.? It makes me think that this is not the first time that she has had to defend the quality of her work.? ? Additionally, I believe this florist has once again demonstrated a lack of professional judgement by including photos that contain personal and identifying information regarding the wedding couple’s families.? Since some of the individuals are minors and the complaint is with me and not the wedding couple, I would like to propose the following consideration: ? I will not continue this process, ONLY if all identifying photos are withdrawn.? If this is not possible, since she has already submitted the identifying photos to the Revdex.com website, then I will continue with the complaint.? ?

The following is in response to the stated customer’s complaint:
Each item the customer is referencing to was delivered in pristine condition on April 16, at 10:00am to the churchThe delivery time/destination was picked and confirm by the customerThe customer didn’t contact us at any point
on April 16th to express their feelings about their floralIf a call would have been made on April 16th, we would have gone back to the delivery location prior to the day’s events taking place and do everything in our power to make it rightNo calls or contact in any form were expressed until days after the event date
The person making this complaint “customer” is the mother of the bride, whom paid the billEven though the mother of the bride paid the bill, our clients are the bride and groomThe bride and groom are the ones who signed the contract, worked with us on designing their flowers, made all the decisions, approved and confirmed their entire order
With each of our clients we schedule our final meeting three weeks prior to the event dateWe met on March 19th at 12:00pm reviewing each item in full detail of floral varieties, colors and styleAgain they approved and confirmed their order
Please refer to photos taken of each of the items referenced to below
1) Each of the six boutonnieres purchased were created with a minimum of 2” stem lengthThis is the standard length of a stem for a boutonniereThe foliage’s used; seeded eucalyptus and olive branch foliage was the accent foliage requested by client
2) Each of the five chest style corsages purchased were created with one gardenia bloom and accented with seeded eucalyptus and olive branch foliageThis exact floral variety and using only one bloom per corsage was the specific request of the client’sGardenias are a gorgeous flower, however they can brown easily is touched by skin or clothingThe oil from skin contact and/or clothing rubbing will cause discolorationSince the client has received corsages created with gardenias in the past, then they know how delicate they are to discoloration due to skin/clothing contact
3) The maid of honor bouquet, was a mixed bouquet created with white/cream stock, yellow fever few, seeded eucalyptus and olive branch foliageThe varieties and style were designed together with the clientThis exact description is on the customer’s order and had been approved and confirmed by the customer The customer is correct when they stated “there was not one to be found” when speaking about daisesThere was never a description of daises in their order, going back to the first draft of their order, daises were never listedWith each floral variety itemized with its exact names, we’re unsure what the client wanted and was expectingWe leave no guessing to any order as each item is clearly described and referenced with floral varieties
4) The bridal bouquet, was a mix bouquet created with white/cream garden roses, gardenias, white/cream stock, white anemones with natural centers, star of Bethlehem, seeded eucalyptus and olive branch foliageThe varieties and style were designed together with the clientThis exact description is on the customer’s order and had been approved and confirmed by the customer The customer stated “unrecognizable and to be made predominately of gardenias”, if the client wanted a predominately gardenia bouquet that was never expressed or written in their order even going back to the first draft of their orderWith each floral variety itemized with its exact names, we’re unsure what the client wanted and was expectingWe leave no guessing to any order as each item is clearly described and referenced with floral varieties
