Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Just a note I was not abusive to salesman [redacted] ***, because he never called me back, so I called him and he told me to get f word and hung up on meNobody from bath planet told me three day to recend any contractI never signed the contract, my wife didMy wife's friend Sue talked my wife into signing the contract on the showerI told her at the time Arene was not in the right state of mind, and we should waitSue talked Arene to sign the contract and the next day she got her friend Beth to come out and look at the bath room showerThe following day I told Sue I want a written estimate of what material cost and a price on the laborBath planet refused to give me a written estimate after this episodeI was not happy with Bath Planet and told them not to install the showerA short time later my wife passes away at shorehaven rehab home in oconomowocI never received a detailed written estimate from bath planetIm not happy the way they treated me, this is why I'm requesting a refund of $That was a down payment Regards, [redacted]

We are in receipt of the complaint from Mr***. We do not believe we are required to give Mr*** a refund, First of all Mr*** was very verbally abusive to our sales repMr*** entered into a contract for us to do some bath remodeling at his residenceThe contract was dated
January 14-Per our contract and state statues Mr*** has a day right of recession because we entered into this agreement at his homeThe bath remodel was intended to aide his wife who was in ill health and would be coming home from being treatedMr***s wife has passed away before she could return to their homeWe called Mr*** to schedule his install and he stated, “ I don’t want it anymore” and that was approximately February 25th or there about, about days past his day right of recessionSo from the day after his day right to rescind, we special ordered all his productA few thousand dollars worth of productWe are still in possession of the product, and are more then willing to do the install and fulfill the contract as agreedBecause Mr*** entered into the contract all of his product is special ordered and cannot be returnedWe are stuck with this productWe are under the belief that Mr*** entered into a legal and binding contractAnd at this point there is no refund what so ever.We are more than willing to fulfill our contract as agreed and do not feel we should eat thousands of dollars worth of product just because his situation has changedMr *** wants a Breakdown of our costs and laborWe cannot provide this , we bid a job based on a very good assumption of what our products cost and a general cost of labor it may take longer than we anticipate we may need new or more materials to complete the job, it is unforeseenAlso if there are additional cost that we incur on his job we do not charge the customer for any additional expenses, we eat themSince Mr*** owns this product we would be willing to take this product to his house for delivery, if he wants it installed we will fulfill our contract, There are Modifications that Mr*** was to complete prior to us getting that he agreed to, Those must be completed before we can complete our install.*** ***

Nobody from bath planet told me three day to recend any contract. I never signed the contract, my wife did. My wife's friend Sue talked my wife into signing the contract on the shower. I told her at the time Arene was not in the right state of mind, and we should wait. Sue talked Arene to sign the contract and the next day she got her friend Beth to come out and look at the bath room shower. The following day I told Sue I want a written estimate of what material cost and a price on the labor. Bath planet refused to give me a written estimate after this episode. I was not happy with Bath Planet and told them not to install the shower. A short time later my wife passes away at shorehaven rehab home in oconomowoc. I never received a detailed written estimate from bath planet. Im not happy the way they treated me, this is why I'm requesting a refund of $4600.00 That was a down payment.
