We responded to this customer via U.SMail They were told when they called for service for their year old Amana that they would be best served by dealing with the company that installed it (INMAN AIR did not install this equipment) The reason we suggested they deal with the company that put it in is because normally year old units are under warranty and they would save money possibly by dealing with the original company, iethey may not charge they a service call fee, etc They informed Inman Air that they did not want to deal with the small company that put it is as they were not happy with them We reluctantly took the callIn May we charged them $to do a routine maintenance check on their a/c and hosed down outside condenser It was noted that they had not maintained the system We received another call from them in late July stating their a/c wasn't working At this time, we realized they had a communicating thermostat which we then referred them back to the company that did the original installation as these type of problems can be technical and expensive They were not charged anything for this visit They then called [redacted] and had a repair that added to $ They want us to reimburse them for their repair We felt we didn't owe them anything but if they didn't feel we did a good job servicing their unit we were happy to refund the $ We did not feel in any way responsible for a repair they needed on a year old system that we did not put in and 1/months had passed since we had even been at their homeA lot of things break down and we can not be responsible for equipment that breaks down that we did not install

Definitely had a fabulous experience from beginning to end Our Bryant a/c and furnace are working great! I had no idea how inefficient ours was Thank you so much for everything! You have a great team

We are sending another seasoned technician to look at the system to get a second opinion of the problem and then if not resolved, we will send the manufacturer rep to discuss with customer. A few of the calls made on this equipment was not to fix it, it was to complete the installation.
In July, there are things we come back to finish on the furnace before we turn it on, so that was not a problem or repair, just simply finishing and checking it out before winter usage. Customer installed new thermostat themselves so another call was when that might have been the issue. Regardless, we have every intention of getting this resolved or sending manufacturer representative to resolve

From the moment I called Inman Air, I was treated like a star Julie answered the phone, and was especially helpful at identify the problem that I was having with my air conditioner Within hour, Bart Inman of Inman Air was at my front door ready to fix my unit - which he did quickly Bart also looked at my furnace, and noticed a safety hazard that he was able to fix Affordability, customer service, and punctuality are words that I would use to describe my experience with Inman Air

I am rejecting this response because:The person who responded to the complaint sounds like the receptionist who caused the complaintAt the time I called, I OWNED my home and was trying to get an estimate for heating & coolingThe receptionist kept telling me that they didn’t do that type of workMy story never changed! I feel that not only was service denied to me but that as a black woman, I was discriminated against by the white receptionistI was referred by someone who had recently used themI closed on my home approximately 8/17/and I called them initially on 9/7/17, the same day I was referredI refuse to allow a racist to discriminate against me! I will a take this case to every organization, including EEOC, until the receptionist and the owner have issued me a written AND oral apology

I called Inman and the next day they were out checking out why my furnace wasn't working. We needed a new blower motor but I decided to just put in a new furnace because of the age of the furnace. The only time I had to be available was on Saturday. An appointment was set up and Clay and Scott came out and took out my old furnace and put in my new one along with a new thermostat. They were very nice and professional. They didn't leave a mess either. I will continue to use Inman Air.

Unfortunately, we can't satisfy all POTENTIAL customers.  In the original call, the customer mentioned she was trying to purchase a HUD house.  That in itself is fine, but we are primarily a residential heating and cooling company that supplies estimates for individuals who currently OWN...

the home.  And secondly, our estimator was out of town for an extensive period due to a family situation that revolved around the unfortunate hurricane in Florida so this misplaced our estimator for over a month.  I did not have the resources to assist this person at the time and also, as stated earlier, we do not provide estimates unless the person currently owns the home.  I feel each time she called she changed her story.

A great reliable company. Very professional. Replacing a furnace can be scary but Inman Air recommended options for products and financing. installation was quick, seamless and Bart himself does courteous follow up. We definitely recommend this company!!!

that put it in is because normally 5 year old units are under warranty and they would save money possibly by dealing with the original company, ie. they may not charge they a service call fee, etc.  They informed Inman Air that they did not want to deal with the small company that put it is as they were not happy with them.  We reluctantly took the call. In May 2016 we charged them $79.00 to do a routine maintenance check on their a/c and hosed down outside condenser.  It was noted that they had not maintained the system.  We received another call from them in late July stating their a/c wasn't working.  At this time, we realized they had a communicating thermostat which we then referred them back to the company that did the original installation as these type of problems can be technical and expensive.  They were not charged anything for this visit.  They then called [redacted] and had a repair that added to $468.00.  They want us to reimburse them for their repair.  We felt we didn't owe them anything but if they didn't feel we did a good job servicing their unit we were happy to refund the $79.00.  We did not feel in any way responsible for a repair they needed on a 5 year old system that we did not put in and 2 1/2 months had passed since we had even been at their home. A lot of things break down and we can not be responsible for equipment that breaks down that we did not install.
