My new car battery was drained after someone forgot to close one of the front doorsI'm a member of AAA, so I got a free boost, but the AAA tech said that to fully restore the battery, it would need a longer charge at a service stationHe gave me the names of two local stations that AAA uses, and he told me that as I was an AAA member, there should be no service fee for the recharge I called inMotion (of the stations) and asked if they would recharge my battery without any feeA service rep named [redacted] told me that would be no problemSo I dropped off the car this morningThree hours later, I got a call from ***, telling me that actually there will be a service fee, and that my AAA membership would mean only a 10% discount instead of 100% freeHe also wanted to know if I would accept a $ [redacted] fee for additional servicesI found it entirely unacceptable, and picked up my car that they had not worked at all during the hours it was on their lot So inMotion wasted my time (and a gallon of gas), and the station owner offered no apology other than an ambiguous "Sorry for the confusion." Well I certainly wasn't confused - I'm quite sure they promised there would be no service fee, and then they simply went back on their promiseI find inMotion to be UNRELIABLE!
