Regarding the wired connection: The in-room jacks do, in fact, go through our network, and we do in fact assist users with issues over the
wiredI do not see any record of this conversation having taken place, and apologize if one of our agents refused to assist with wired issuesFor clarity, however, it is important to note that while that jack connects to our network, both the physical jack itself and the cable run to our network were put in place by the property management, and they are responsible for maintaining that cabling if in fact they are not functioning correctly
Regarding the wireless issue: We have maintained and continue to maintain that the inconsistency with the wireless connection is due to an issue with the wireless adapter in the laptopWhile all of the metrics visible to us on the equipment indicate that its connection is strong and should be solid, it is unable to maintain a consistent connectionAs the laptop in question is still connecting to the network via the same adapter that has been in use, it is unsurprising that this inconsistent behavior continuesOur advise regarding this remains that he attempt the connection with a different wireless network adapter
At no time over the course of attempting to assist with this issue have changes be made to his allocated bandwidthThe apparent changes (in the speed tests) are a result of the inconsistent wireless connection discussed above, not because of any change to the account or the allowed bandwidth
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/04/27) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I've already taken my laptop to get repaired before complaining about the wireless connection recentlyThe CERTIFIED computer/laptop technicians told me my wireless adapter was 100% fine, and ANY and ALL hardware and software issues were repaired at that timeThis was two months ago, before I called about connectivity issues recentlyI explained all of this to the customer service agent when I called about a week ago and apparently he did not listen to what I saidEverything is fine and working on my end, I am able to connect and have a stable connection with EVERY other wireless connection I try outside my apartment complex
If your equipment says there is nothing wrong on your end, then investigate your equipmentThis would not be the first time your equipment showed inaccurate resultsWhen I spoke with my building's management about the unstable ethernet wired connection, they tested and showed it was indeed brokenThey then called Innflux, and once again Innflux showed nothing wrong on their endWhen both the tenant and the building management agree that there is a problem, and the provider of Internet service STILL insists and says everything is "fine", something shady is DEFINITELY going on

Horrible, slow internet. We are talking 1990s dialup here. $4/night PER DEVICE to upgrade to halfway decent speed. So slow it times out on the support chat when you are trying to figure out how to upgrade for just one device. Rude CSRs. Ripoff.

I will avoid [redacted] in the future just because of this awful internet!
