Oil man came to my house to clean oil burner previously, my husband watched him use the relief valce to rinse his bucketThat night out heat stopped working and he had to come out and fix it This past friday my came out again to clean burner, that night the relief valve leakedMy husband put a bucket under it and it stopped after a few minutes so my husband just thought nothing of it and assumed it was stopped for goodThe next night I came down to my basement and my basement had about inches of water on the groundWe called oil man and said we have a flood in our basement and it was right after he did cleaning he said well why didn’t you call us when it leakedI told him it only leaked for a few minutes then it stopped so we assumed it was done until I came down to my basement now and there’s a flood The service guy automatically got defensive and said the relief valve has nothing to do with what we cleaned it is not our problem he should’ve called us when it happenedI
