My contract should have been cancelled and fee waived previous to the new owner’s purchase of TitleWhen I started getting charged again, I gave Title the benefit of the doubt and gave them a call I imagined in the midst of the transition to new ownership it got lost in the shuffle of thingsAfter speaking to one of the new owner’s and explaining the situation they provided no relief and asked that I contact corporate I did as they instructed and contacted corporate that same week and provided all of the documentation that current owner’s refused to view, because “it wasn’t their problem.” After review, corporate apologized and waived the fee and cancelled my membership “because it was the right thing to do” after providing all documentation My membership was cancelled with corporate by ME contacting them, not Title In fact, after my initial call to Title and them requesting I contact corporate, I never heard from them againWhich makes it even more odd that they said I refused to pay the $and then turned me over to collections This is actually the first time I’m hearing about being sent to collectionsIf title “cancelled” my membership, I will need documentation of the date that took place asap This will be compared to the email corporate sent to me for my records of the day I cancelled with corporateIf Title wrongfully submitted my information to a collection agency and damaged my credit, that will warrant a consumer fraud complaint to the Arizona Attorney General's office and disputes raised with the credit bureaus

This will be my last response to this and I will make it short and sweet.1) I have no record of her conversations with Staff previous to myself purchasing the Business, so I have no obligation to refund/cancel/hold based on what she talked to someone not employed by me and not entered into our Franchise system in notes.2) I offered her several solutions, which she only cared for the one that fit her best.3) Title Corporate has NO JURISDICTION in Member matters The Franchisee controls ALL interaction and makes ALL decisions about Membership refunds/cancellations/holds.4) I cancelled her Contract and Membership to end it so that I would no longer have to deal with her inappropriate words towards staff.5) Our "Collections" system is 100% internal to protect us the Franchisee There is no credit reporting with this collection It can not make it to a credit report unless we get a Judgement against her, which is not worth the money and time.6) I encourage her to contact the Arizona Attorney General and as many Attorneys as possible and do whatever she would like and waste as much money as possible because I am done wasting my time on someone that was never a Member of mine anyway.7) I hope she has a great day.Sincerely,Chris B [redacted] - Title Boxing Club Scottsdale

*** signed up for an annual contract with the Previous Owners When we purchased the Business we assume that contract She owes $as part of her original contract We let her out of the contract for the cancellation fee of $ She refused so we turned her over to
collections After we started paying the $25/month to the collection company we decided to just cut our losses and contacted the Franchisor to cancel her immediately and that we would not be collecting the cancellation fee.So to address her complaint, she owes us either an additional $to complete the cancellation fee or she owes us an additional $to complete the original contract she agreed to In other words, at the very least she owes us an apology and a Thank you for letting her out of the contract she agreed to.Sincerely,Chris B***

My contract should have been cancelled and fee waived previous to the new owner’s purchase of Title. When I started getting charged again, I gave Title the benefit of the doubt and gave them a call.  I imagined in the midst of the transition to new ownership it got lost in the shuffle of things. After speaking to one of the new owner’s and explaining the situation they provided no relief and asked that I contact corporate.   I did as they instructed and contacted corporate that same week and provided all of the documentation that current owner’s refused to view, because “it wasn’t their problem.” After review, corporate apologized and waived the fee and cancelled my membership “because it was the right thing to do” after providing all documentation.  My membership was cancelled with corporate by ME contacting them, not Title.  In fact, after my initial call to Title and them requesting I contact corporate, I never heard from them again. Which makes it even more odd that they said I refused to pay the $250 and then turned me over to collections.  This is actually the first time I’m hearing about being sent to collections. If title “cancelled” my membership, I will need documentation of the date that took place asap.  This will be compared to the email corporate sent to me for my records of the day I cancelled with corporate. If Title wrongfully submitted my information to a collection agency and damaged my credit, that will warrant a consumer fraud complaint to the Arizona Attorney General's office and disputes raised with the credit bureaus.
