Innovative Collections

Review: Innovative Collection Agency is knowingly and willfully breaking the law. They are reporting 4 accounts on my credit report past the FCRA 7-year statute of limitations. I have sent them 2 certified letters asking them to remove all (4) of these derogatory credit items from my Transunion credit report. My first certified letter was sent December 17, 2013 (They signed for it December 18, 2013, and the second certified letter was sent January 31, 2014 (They signed for this letter February 3, 2014). On both occasions, Innovative Collection Agency sent me back 4 statements (one for each account) showing they all had a zero balance, and the date of the accounts (January 2007). They are reporting on my Transunion credit report that these items are not due to be removed until February 2017! I have disputed these accounts three times with Transunion, and on all three occasions, Innovative falsely validated all four debts. Transunion stated they cannot remove it because it was validated by Innovative Collections. On Friday, February 28, 2014, I called Innovative Collections as 2:01 PM to discuss why they had not been removed and why they were breaking the law. I first spoke with [redacted], who transferred me to her supervisor, [redacted] (employee #**). [redacted] stated that they could not remove items from my credit report. I asked her how this was possible because they were the ones who incorrectly listed the items on there. She stated that I had to dispute all four accounts with Transunion. I said I had on 3 different occasions and that Innovative falsely validated the debt. She stated she could not do anything about it and to contact Transunion. When I contracted Transunion, they stated I needed to contact the creditor (Innovative Collections). What Innovative Collection agency is doing is illegal and these items need to be immediately removed.Desired Settlement: Because they have been reporting these items incorrectly, I have wrongfully been denied credit. I want all 4 of these derogatory credit items removed from my credit report immediately.

Review: I received several "final notice" letters from Innovative Collection Services in one day. The letters were delivered to my PO Box. I never received notice that a billing or collection issue existed before I received "5" final notice letters, all on the same day and dated all on the same day. When I contacted the Innovative Collection Services, customer service representative was condescending. Although a request for supervisory staff to call me was requested, no one from Innovative Collection Services called. I wanted an explanation. No one notified me that the issue described in these "5" letters existed. I assume this is a bambuzzle because no time to rebut the issue described in each letter has been afforded me. No one returned my call, the customer service representative was like speaking to a well rehearsed plot, and I never heard from the staff supervisor. I'm not one to complain but it seems that a conspiracy to take a huge amount of money from me was transacted and I am not sure why. The objective is to know why did I receive "final notice" letters from Innovative Collection Services without prior warning that the issue(s) existed, and why didn't the staff supervisor feel they needn't return my call? Money doesn't grow on trees.Desired Settlement: I want to know how and why each of the 5 letters sent to my address on the same day, even though the incidents occurred over a three month period of time. I want the penalty amount waived from each incident, because I was never contacted by mail.
