I have been contacted by Thomas [redacted] ,Sales Manager, Mount Airy Toyota that he will reimburse me for repairs to my FJ Cruiser as described in my complaint # [redacted] when we meet at the dealership on Friday April 1,2006.I consider this case closed should the reimbursement be made on April 1st [redacted]

I was from out of town and looking in to purchasing a used Toyota from a smaller, private dealer in the areaPrior to purchasing the vehicle I wanted to have a certified mechanic check it for any and all issuesA Toyota dealer seemed like seemed like the ideal place to have this doneI was HORRIBLY WRONGAfter looking at the car, they said it was in great shapeThen proceeded to try to up-sell me on a timing belt and water pump - to a vehicle I didn't even own yetThis should have been my signAfter purchasing the car it started leaking gas due to the excessive rusting under the carThe rusting is substantial, unmistakeable and certainly effects the car's value and life spanThere is no way MtAiry Toyota did anything more than hook this car up to the computerHonestly I doubt if they even did thatI had to contact them 10+ times to get any type of responseIn the end they refunded the cost of the "inspection"The whole reason I took this car there was to avoid spending $10,on a bad investmentNow they just want me to go awaySTAY AWAY! Do not trust this service departmentLots of excuses, poor workmanship, poor folland poor customer serviceWorst experience I have ever had

From the moment I put in an online inquiry to driving off the lot, I have had an amazing experience. I had a little issue with my tags due to a trade in but the manager and title department went over and beyond to assist me. The receptionist, Salesman, manager and finance team, gave me more than exceptional customer service throughout all my dealings with them. I live quite a bit away from the dealership but I recommend them to anyone I know looking to buy a car. The customer service at this dealership can't be beat!
