Let me start by saying we have bought numerous trailers over the past 35 years which were bought from dealers all over Ontario, thus we have met a lot of dealers. Early in January 2012, we had an urgent need for a large enclosed trailer, we had seen ads for The Trailer Depot in Peterborough, and we gave them a try. When we bought our trailer from Lesley, there were the usual negotiations but surprisingly not over price as they had the best pricing in Eastern Ontario. As it was January and we were in the middle of one of those winter deep freezes, Lesley warned us that there may be a delay in delivery as all their stock was currently frozen to the ground. We made the deal and sure enough the trailer was frozen in, despite many hours and an enormous effort by the staff the trailer was not coming out. Lesley was excellent, her empathy to our needs, her obvious care about our situation was nothing short of amazing. Lesley spoke with Dan and they arranged to have a brand new unit ship

[redacted]. I ordered and paid in full for a trailer on May, 19th, 2016. The trailer was to be delivered in 4-6 weeks (written on front of contract). I called numerous times but was given an excuse every time that my trailer didn't fit on the load. I called [redacted] where the trailer was manufactured. They advised the trailer was built in June 2016 and has been sitting on their lot since. No money has been paid for the trailer by the Trailer Depot. Trailer Depot has not returned any of the company's emails. I called several times right up to Nov. 10th, 2016 where I was told that I would have my answer on Monday. I called Monday and the phone was disconnected and the business has folded absconding with my money along with many others according to [redacted] Reviews on The Trailer Depot. Lie after lie. They took money for trailers right up to the last day. [redacted]
