Innovative Men's Clinic Reviews (3)

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this individual’s serious allegations about us.Whoever this person is, if they truly ever had the symptoms and side effects described, we empathize with him and we hope that he ultimately received the competent treatment he deserves. We sincerely wish him...

well. However, based upon the information outlined in his complaint, and for the following reasons, we deny that we ever treated this person: 1) When we do a blood test to ascertain a patient’s testosterone levels, we show the patient a print out of the actual results. It would not be ethical to recite test results orally without showing a physical print out of the results and there is simply no reason whatsoever to do that. It would not happen at Innovative Men’s Clinic. There may be clinics out there that do not show their patients a print out of the various tests that can be performed, but we are aware that our reputation is on the line with every new patient we meet. For that reason, we document everything we do and we disclose to our patients every piece of important data about their current health, including their blood tests.2) We do not proceed with a treatment, or a partial treatment, with a patient... and then discuss the treatment. All treatments are fully discussed prior to the initiation of any treatment given. This includes disclosures and discussions of possible side effects and any possible negative consequences. In addition to this, every patient reads and signs the appropriate consent form(s) prior to proceeding with, and receiving, any particular treatment. No patient at any of our locations receives any treatment unless and until they consent to it. At Innovative Men’s Clinic, we take this very seriously.     3) We do not proceed with a treatment prior to discussing the costs of said treatment. A treatment plan of action is agreed to, and paid for by the patient, prior to receiving any treatment. This gentleman clearly describes receiving treatment at a clinic prior to signing anything. At Innovative Men’s Clinic, we believe that would be irresponsible and that we would never do that at any of our locations.  4) This gentleman describes being treated in a way that we would describe as callous and indifferent. We do not provide our patients with impersonal treatment devoid of compassion, especially when there is an apparent complication. All our physicians care a great deal for each of our patients. We are happy to report that men come to us for treatment after going to other clinics where they receiving the kind of detached treatment described in this complaint. We take good care of our patients and in return we are well liked by them. 5) This individual describes being in a great deal of pain and discomfort. However, despite this, he states that, instead of calling, he decided to wait a week before speaking with a medical professional. Had this been a patient cared for at Innovative Men’s Clinic, he would have already been informed by his personal physician at Innovative Men’s Clinic, and in writing via the consent form that he signed, that a patient is to call us immediately if there are any treatment-related complications. The consent would have made clear that he had partial responsibility in receiving the best possible care, which would have included communicating all health concerns on an “as soon as possible” basis, which he admitted he did not do.6) Not a single part of the experience that this complaint describes matches with the procedures that we have in place; procedures that we take very seriously. We follow them with each new patient. If this individual was ever one of our patients, rather than misrepresenting what happens at Innovative Men’s Clinic, he owes it to himself to communicate his actual concerns to us so that the situation can be resolved to his satisfaction, including the simple process of obtaining a refund for any unused portion of payments he may have made for treatment not yet rendered.     The sum of money this person claims that has not been refunded is a substantial amount of money. At Innovative Men’s Clinic, we take the care of our patients very seriously. We also take bogus complaints seriously. If the details outlined in this individual’s complaint were accurate, if this person truly had the experience they describe, we believe they would have continued to pursue their refund rather than just claim they wrote and called “several times”. For these reasons, we believe this complaint is not credible. If, however, this individual can document any of what they describe and give us something to work with, which has not yet happened to the best of our knowledge, we can go to work on resolving the issue(s) as any business that wants to retain their great reputation would do. Thanks again to Ripoff Reports for the opportunity for legitimate complaints to be brought to light and resolved.

We've talked to the patient and came to an agreement for a full refund issued via check.
We apologized that it took this long to find a solution to this matter.
Offered the patient our information if patient had any more questions. Customer is satisfied with resolution.

Thank...

you,
Innovative Men's Clinic

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: On March 12th, 2016 I met with Dr. W[redacted] at IMC Wenatchee Branch to discuss testosterone treatments.  I decided to have the treatments and signed the consent forms and was not given copies.  My wife, [redacted] wrote out a check on her personal account to IMC for $2,700  prior to receiving my first treatment.  I have a bank verified copy of my wife's cancelled check, front and back copies showing her check was endorsed and deposited by IMC.  I also have multiple copies of my email correspondence with Dr. W[redacted].We never received any printouts of bloodtest results.  I emailed Dr. W[redacted] for the results and he gave me the numbers via email.  The first number he send me was the estrogen level.  I contacted him for the testosterone level.  He eventually emailed me the testosterone level which was 300 points higher than the high end normal range.  He told me this was unusual.I never received any treatment at the Wenatchee Clinic prior to signing anything.  We signed all paperwork and paid in full prior to any treatment.Dr. W[redacted] was professional but seemed preoccupied with his work in the Quincy Hospital emergency room.I contacted Dr. W[redacted] telling him I still felt badly from the procedure and he told me to give the medicine time to work.  I talked to him about sending medicine to me to relieve the pain.  He sent me C-Apomorphine 6mg Troche and C- Anastrozole .05 mg.  The medicine made me feel sicker and I couldn't take it.  I let him know about this.I do not know all IMC's procedures, but I have followed their directions as best as possible.  I have not misrepresented my experience with IMC, Wenatchee Branch.  My correspondance with IMC and cancelled check is proof enough to show that I was their patient and I did receive treatment from them.  See attached copies of emails, my wife's cancelled check, and a copy of the medication that Dr. W[redacted] prescribed for me.Thank you,[redacted]In your email you  requested proof of payment, and documentation to show we were a customer of the business.  I’m attaching a copy of the check made payable to Innovative Men’s (front and back of check) to show that they received the check and deposited it.  I obtained this bank verified copy from my bank.  Also included in the attachment is all our written email conversations back and forth to Dr. W[redacted] from May 24, 2016 through February 28, 2017.  We saw Dr. W[redacted] at the Wenatchee branch Innovative Men’s Clinic which was located in the Quincy Hospital in Quincy, W[redacted].  We signed a consent form during our first visit on March 12th  and Dr. W[redacted] started the  medical procedure the same visit and inserted the hormone pellets in [redacted].  Dr. W[redacted] did not give us a copy of the consent form.  The items in the attachment should show proof that [redacted] was treated by Dr. W[redacted].  We saw Dr. W[redacted] three times at the Wenatchee Branch Clinic; the initial visit and procedure, the follow up visit to remove the stitches, and the third visit was for a blood test.  Please use the [redacted]@charter.net email address when responding to him.  The direct telephone number at home is [redacted]
