Innovative Painting Pros was hired to prep and paint the exterior of my home The prep work was not done and therefore the paint started chipping and peeling as soon as they finished painting The company addressed the issues that were immediately obvious within a short time after completion of the job My wife and I were given a year warranty, and the company admitted that the prep was inadequate On Feb, I called Taylor to let him know that there were further issues with the paint He said he would come to our home to inspect it He did come out to the house and he said they would schedule for a crew to fix the problems Since then they have not been in touch with us, no one ever came out to fix the problems, and they have avoided returning phone calls and emails

Owner / Contractor (CCB#214313) had poor work ethic and provided substandard exterior painting service Taylor J***, owner, was late to job - took hour lunch breaks and failed to return to work on the 2nd day of service agreement After I complained about the quality of the supposed "nearly completed" work and requested that an additional coat of paint be reapplied to help cover cracks and missed patchy areas; I was told that we would need to discuss at a later date and he cancelled his remaining afternoon session
I terminated our contract and told him to retain his 50% deposit ($400) The job was to repaint the south wall of our residence - approximately sqftfor $(which I thought was overly expensive - but willing to pay it for excellent work.) I will end up having to redo the entire job myself as I can't afford to hire another contractor
