The water softener rental service offered by Culligan includes maintenance and periodic salt deliveryIn the case of this customer salt delivery was scheduled for every monthsAll salt deliveries are delivered off predetermined route schedulesSince we run on a route system with approximately
stops per day per route truck we cannot give exact times for the deliveriesHowever, we do the following in an attempt to make as many successful deliveries as possible. * Reminder call days before of pending delivery* Offer to stack bags outside if we cannot gain entrance* Day of delivery offer a hour delivery window if customer request* Offer one hour call ahead if customer request* Ask for a key or remote to be kept at out facility to gain entrance on delivery day* Offer to install an outside remote garage door keypad to gain entrance on delivery day* Each month a customer receives their bill the next delivery date are on bill* Offer $Platinum Care special delivery on an exact day and timeSpecial delivery "off route" In reference to the claim about a "contracted delivery time and specific quantity to be delivered" no such contract exist today nor has ever existed with any of our customers to the best of my knowledge Since salt is not charged for in addition to the rental of the equipment, Culligan delivers the amount of salt we estimate is needed to keep the equipment functioning properly Culligan's goal is to always exceed our customers expectationsUnfortunately from time to time we cannotcome to a resolution that is equitable to all partiesAt this point this customer has terminated all services with Culligan. I am rejecting this response because:When I asked if it was their policy to ignore no soliciting signs, I was told "not necessarily." I do not believe that is a valid response, nor do I believe that the fliers will stop since I was pretty much blown off. I know several of my neighbors also have no soliciting signs on their door that were ignored.  The fliers being left are also a safety concern. If someone is traveling and the flyer is left on their door, it is an open invitation for someone to break into the house because it stays on the door. I know I'm planning to travel soon and don't want my house broken into because someone can't be bothered to read the no soliciting sign I have posted. It's there for a reason.

In response to complaint # [redacted], I just received this notice today, 12/30/15. It had been sent to the San Antonio office in error. The complaint mentioned is a Culligan of Seguin customer. I spoke to the customer the very next day after the charges had taken place. I did apologize and made...

sure that the credit to her card was done immediately. I let her know that I had a new person that was in training and that he had not seen that the full charge on her order was written as an estimate only. I let her know that it was an error on our part and that the credit would be entered towards the credit card that it was charged to immediately. She called back the next day stating that she was still not seeing the credit on her bank account. I explained to her that it had been done and that unfortunately it takes 3-4 days for a credit to post. The time that it takes for the credit card company to issue a credit is beyond our control and we did address it immediately and apologize for the inconvenience. Thank You
