To whom it may concern:Mr [redacted] ordered a "Special" set of fenders from us that were to be developed from a basic concept drawing and that drawing (supplied by Mr [redacted] ) did not include running boardsWe developed the fenders with NO intention of them incorporating running boards and it was not until they were complete that Mr [redacted] requested running boards.Mr [redacted] and his car are located in Western Canada and we must use other customer cars to create these "Special" kits on and we are at the mercy of our other customers time frames when it comes to having a car to prototype onFrom the very first contact with Mr [redacted] he was aware that availability of a car in which to make these "Special" parts was a condition beyond our controlMr [redacted] received his fender kit and instructions for installation that stated running boards were not required or needed to complete the installation and we have repeatedly told him that once we complete a set of running boards they will be sent to him at No extra charge. These are not run of the mill Production pieces and even if we had a car to prototype these parts on it would take many hours to do soOnce we complete the Original units they will then need to go to a sublet manufacture for making of molds and then the making of the parts all of which takes TIME.We are doing our best to get running boards completed and when complete the units will be sent to Mr [redacted] at No ChargeDue to the fact he is in Canada he will be responsible for Canadian taxes and Customs fees.Mr [redacted] has repeatedly stated that this was delaying the completion of his car but as stated the fender kits are designed to be Complete without running boards.Sincerely:Dan ***R
